If your wedding is in 3–6 months, here are things that should already be checked off your to-do list:

1. Your Vendors Should Be Locked In: Your dream venue, planner, caterer, florist, photo, DJ/band, and hair/makeup should all be officially booked. Dates fill up quickly, and the last thing you want is scrambling to find someone last minute.

2. Details should be coming together: By this point, your vendors should not only be secured but also aware of your vision for the day. If you haven’t already, work on your must-have shot list with your photographer, fill out your DJs song questionnaire, confirm you have all your rental items necessary, send your mood board to your florist, etc.

3. Your Dress (and Alterations) Should Be on Track: By now, you should have your wedding dress in your possession or nearing its arrival. Make sure you’ve scheduled (or completed) your alterations to allow time for any final tweaks.

If you’re not quite there yet, don’t panic, just make these priorities ASAP to keep everything running smoothly!

Let’s clear up the difference between a wedding planner and a wedding coordinator—they’re *not* the same, and knowing the difference can save you some stress!

Wedding Planner

A planner helps you from the start, working on everything from picking vendors and budgeting to designing your dream day. They’re with you every step of the way, handling all the details so you can focus on enjoying the process.

Wedding Coordinator

A coordinator steps in closer to the big day (usually 30-90 days out) to make sure all your plans run smoothly. They’ll review contracts, create timelines, manage vendors, and handle any last-minute hiccups so you don’t have to.

Think of it this way: a planner creates the day, while a coordinator runs it. Both roles are amazing, it just depends on how much help you need!

2025 grooms: Your wedding day is just around the corner, and while it’s easy to get caught up in the excitement, there are a few crucial things you’ll want to finalize before the big day. Here’s your go-to checklist for a smooth, stress-free experience:

1. Suit Up: Make sure your suit or tuxedo is ready to go, and take time for one final fitting. It’s all about feeling confident and comfortable, so don’t rush this step. From shoes to cufflinks, check every detail—your look matters, and so does your comfort!

2. Rings and Vows: Have the rings securely in hand (and make sure they fit!). If you’re writing personal vows, take some time to reflect and express what truly matters to you. This is your moment, so get them right. Practice reading them aloud to make sure you feel confident when the time comes.

3. Final Timeline Review: Confirm the schedule with your wedding planner or coordinator to ensure everyone knows what’s happening and when. From the ceremony to the reception, reviewing the timeline ensures you won’t miss any key moments—and it helps the day go by seamlessly.

4. Prep Your Crew: Communicate with your groomsmen and other key people in your wedding party. Confirm their attire, transportation details, and their role in the day’s events. A well-prepared crew makes everything run smoothly!

5. Self-Care Essentials: Don’t forget to take care of yourself in the lead-up to the wedding. Whether it’s getting enough rest, hydrating, or taking a moment to relax, a little self-care will help you stay calm and collected when it counts most.
