We celebrated Autumn + Lucas in the most beautiful way back in July! 💍💒

It was a day full of love, quality time spent with family, and so much laughter. Thank you for trusting me with such a special day!

My favorite part of what I do is meeting so many amazing people and making friends along the way. Autumn is the best and she’s stuck with me now! Just have to convince her to move to TN 😉

Hello Friends!

August is my favorite month of the year, but it’s also a busy one! Between both of my girls having birthdays and the beginning of our school year (any other homeschooling families out there!?) we have been slammed!

September kicks off wedding season for us and we have back to back weddings for nearly 2 months straight 🤩 I can’t wait to work with all of these amazing couples!

I was honored to assist two of my favorite people in the world on their perfect day. I have known Allie and Bryson for a long time and through all of those years the one thing that never changed about them was the love that they have for each other. These pictures do such a beautiful job of capturing that love! The day was a little rainy but it couldn’t have been more perfect. Thank you for trusting me with your big day! 💕

My favorite part of every wedding is the moment right before I send the bride down the aisle. When everything is calm and quiet and I get to spend just a second alone with her.

This wedding was extra special for me because I’ve known Allie and her family for many years now. I was the first person Bryson told when he bought the ring. I feel so honored that they trusted me with their big day!

I’ll share more from their perfect day soon but for now please enjoy this photo of me actually hugging someone 😅 if you know me at all, you know how big of a deal that is! I may have also had a tear in my eye seeing how beautiful Allie looked in this moment, but we aren’t going to talk about that 💕

We celebrated with Haven + Austin earlier this month and it couldn’t have been more perfect 🤩

The rain held off, she has the best family + friends who were there to help all day long, and her decor was beautiful! (This girl made 90% of her decor by herself 🤯)

They are so fun, so real, and so in love 😍🥰

Let’s talk ✨guest books✨

There are so many creative ways to capture the memory of who attended your wedding! had this stunning picture album made featuring all of their engagement photos, leaving space for guests to write a message in between the pictures.

Polaroid picture albums, voicemail audio books, and video booths are all fun alternatives to a traditional guest book! This is a great opportunity to really showcase your style and ensure that your wedding really represents who you are all as a couple.

P.S.- if a traditional guest book IS your style, that’s totally fine too! They are classic and timeless 😉

Ask family or friends for help, lean into your fiancé, and remember that your bridal party is there to help. If you’re still feeling really overwhelmed, it’s probably time to reach out to a planner. Let a professional take care of everything so that you can enjoy the process and most importantly, your big day!

There is so much to be done on your wedding day! Even if you don’t have a *ton* of decor to be placed, there are still so many moving parts to be taken care of before you can walk down the aisle. So while you and your bridal party get ready all day, who is going to take care of it all!?

This is where a wedding planner/coordinator becomes an invaluable resource. Knowing that you have someone out there, overseeing the ex*****on of your vision so you don’t have to worry, is such a stress relief. Before you hire a planner, make sure that set-up is included in their package.

If you’re not hiring a planner, be sure to designate a team of family or friends (who won’t be getting ready with you all day) who can execute the set up for you.
