J Brothers Promotions has been busy building our new race Door Car Domination and is looking to partner with some new businesses and corporations. The race is being hosted at Maryland International Raceway March 28th-30th 2025 and will include Top and Bottom bulb classes.

Attention racers get ready, it’s official!

Mark your calendars for March 28th-30th 2025, at Maryland International Raceway (MIR), because the Door Car Domination race is coming your way. We will be offering some great door car racing action, which includes Triple 8K’s for top bulb, Triple 5K’s for bottom bulb, gamblers races, and possible high roller races.

We are working tirelessly on the new flyer, but rest assured, were bringing you everything you’ve come to know and appreciate from our previous events. Racers can expect many prizes and giveaways, live stream, shirts, coffee & donuts, water in the lanes, and the racer appreciation dinner to top it all off. It’s the J Brothers Promotions experience you love wrapped up in another great door car event. We have had a great experience while working with Royce and Adam at MIR to get this event started up, and we know the racers are in for a great experience as well, so get ready for a weekend packed full of racing and fun at a beautiful facility.

Rob’s racing legacy began in 1991 with a street-class 1968 Camaro, a car that he still has to this day. He also used to take some wins when he raced a dragster in super himself but nowadays he and his wife Renee are dedicated to the Jr Dragster program for their children. Their sons Michael and Mason are making waves in the Jr Dragster scene in their Halfscale dragsters and their daughter Maddie is gearing up to join next year. Michael recently won the 15-year-old class title at the Eastern Conference Finals!

You can find Rob and his family racing at our home track Maple Grove regularly. Thank you Rob Artim for supporting our race and giving back to the Jrs!

💥💥Attention Racers💥💥

We hope everyone is having a great summer so far, hopefully us at J Bros can make it a little better! After 3 successful years as race promoters, we have some exciting news! We have decided to take it up a notch in 2025 and introduce a second race, the Inaugural Door Car Domination. We are happy to be welcoming top-bulb to this race!! Whether you like footbrake, no box or top bulb, this is the race for you. More details about this race will be coming soon, so keep an eye out for updates! We would like to thank everyone for the support and all of the positive feedback to help us take this next step in our journey as race promoters.

The bonus prize money for Jr Dragsters at the No Box 660 Shootout was generously provided by Kapp Motorsports.

Kapp Motorsports had nothing to gain from sponsoring us, yet they stepped up and contributed the bonus for the kids!

This father-son racing team features Paul Kapp, an Army veteran who worked as an engineer on a Chinook, and his son Rieley Kapp. Paul races in his primered Cutlass, while Rieley drives his black Jr Dragster, with both cars sporting green accents. Sponsored by the Lonesome Losers Social Club, they've been racing for the past three years, though Paul's passion for racing began at the high school drags.

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Kapp Motorsports for being part of our race and giving the kids a payout bonus.

The Mid-town Tire & Auto Best appearing award this year at the No box 660 shoot out went to the father daughter duo Jeff and Maicy Stewart! These are two incredibly clean cars!

Thanks also to Performance Polish for providing the polish kit that was awarded to the best appearing cars!
