Let’s talk flower girls -

I personally, love flower girls. One of my favorite moments as a ceremony director is the stillness of the moment where there’s a slight pause as you build confidence in the flower girl to make her way down the aisle and brief her on dropping her petals.

It’s truly the sweetest moment when they make their entrance and give nod that the
Bride is about to enter.

Now we all know that children in weddings can be unpredictable.

When considering a flower girl, age and personality are big factors.

An ideal age is 3-8ish years old. This is the age where they are walking good and able to take direction well. All while still maintaining the cute factor, that brings all the smiles and “awes” out in the room.

The photos with the flower girls are so precious. These are the moments where the little girls start having big dreams of being a bride themselves ones day!
