We have devastating news. My husband Bill died on Sunday the 2nd of February. He will be remembered for many, many things including his arboretum, which he spent 50 years planting up. These are a few of the flower bouquets we have been sent by very kind friends and family. The funeral will be on Wednesday the 26th of February, at 2.30pm, at Fowlis Wester Church. ❤️

This is Cardiocrinum Giganteum, a spectacular giant lily. It takes 7 years to flower and then when it's flowered it dies. Before it dies it throws out seeds which in turn will take another 7 years to flower.
