This is Cardiocrinum Giganteum, a spectacular giant lily. It takes 7 years to flower and then when it's flowered it dies. Before it dies it throws out seeds which in turn will take another 7 years to flower.

I do hope some of you can join us for our annual garden opening in mid June.

We will be raising money for Anchor House, a charity which provides accommodation for homeless people and specialises in su***de prevention.

And the Spafford Children's Centre, which provides psychological and educational support to vulnerable Palestinian children and their families.

We are raising money for Anchor House, a mental health charity which provides accomodation for homeless people and specialises in su***de prevention.
