Smoked meats and loaded fries

▶️ Smoked pulled beef featherblade with chimichurri, cheese, crispy onions, chives

▶️ Smoked pulled pork, cherry bbq sauce, pickles, crispy onions, chives

▶️ Homemade chicken tikka, green chutney, tamarind sauce, mint yogurt, crispy onions, coriander

▶️ Halloumi, chipotle mayo, pickles, crispy onions, chives

All available as a loaded bun/sub or loaded fries

We’ll also have some limited portions of chicken wings and mac n cheese available

Massive thanks to Warley RFC for having us back again yesterday for presidents day - and an even bigger thank you to everyone who joined the queue and demolished all the stock in 3 hours! The weather forecast looked grim but the sun was shining and we had beer, rugby, music, and the best company - grassroots community rugby exactly as it should be!

We were packed away and properly on the beers by 6pm 🍺🍻

It was also the first outing of our new massive fryer, and I think it’s safe to say it was a success.

Next up we will be at XO Lounge on Sunday 25th May from 2pm, serving up smoked meats, loaded fries and mac n cheese!

This Sunday we are back at Warley RFC for presidents day! One of my favourite events, it’s such good fun.

Menu will look a bit like this:

German hot dogs - jalapeño and cheese or bacon frankfurter

Load your hotdog with smoked pulled pork or smoked beef chilli!

Loaded fries:
Smoked pulled pork, cherry bbq sauce, pickles, crispy onions, chives

Smoked beef chilli, cheese, jalapeños, onions, coriander, sour cream

Chicken tikka, mint yogurt, mango chutney, hot chilli, coriander, crispy onions

Cubed halloumi, pickles, chipotle mayo, crispy onions, chives

Serving from 1pm until we sell out!!

We’re back!!

After a wonderful few weeks off where we have enjoyed spring and sunshine and free weekends, we are back at it this Easter at our spiritual home, Fixed Wheel Brewery 🍺 🍻 🚲

The menu below is more of an indication of what to expect as we have sourced some new kit but we aren’t 100% sure if it’ll be up and running in time for the weekend. However you can be assured that we will have smoked and grilled loveliness to go in and around your cake holes 😆

BUSINESS UPDATE!!

Hello my lovelies! It’s a bit late to be saying happy new year isn’t it 😆 I hope you’ve all had a lovely winter!!

I gotta say, a little bit of light in the evenings now is a real teaser - we are due fools spring soon, my absolute FAVE week of the year and I’m hoping this means I get my BBQ mojo back 🔥

For 2025 I have decided to rein the events in and slow down a bit, and this is for a combination of reasons.

First of all, costs have got so much higher over the last 18-24 months, and people have less money to spend. We have always tried to make sure that you have maximum bang for your buck and I don’t want to put prices up where I don’t have to, so I will be reliant on economy of scale to make it sure it works for everyone. This means fewer events but bigger events, (hopefully) with more footfall.
Second, I work full time and each event is days of planning - menu planning, food prep, smoking, service, packing away and cleaning. It’s exhausting, and last year sucked the joy out of my hobby. Honestly, a massive part of this is for the love of feeding people and cooking stuff I want to cook, but financially it’s just not worth the massive amount of effort that goes in to it.

So, while you absolutely will see us about this year, it won’t be as often. But when you do see us we will be breaking out the good stuff for you beautiful souls!

Dates for our spring and summer events will be posted in the coming weeks, so keep your eyes peeled!

This weekend you can catch us back at Leviathan Brewing for their Christmas independent traders event 🍺 🍻 🎅

We will have various dishes on throughout the day including some of the following, so come and check out the blackboard or ask what we have on!

Brisket loaded fries - smoked brisket braised in a caramelised onion gravy, served over fries with crumbled Stilton, black pepper mayo, crispy onions and chives

Christmas turkey burger - minced turkey thigh and stuffing patty in a brioche bun with cranberry sauce, black pepper mayo, pink onions, crispy onions and shredded lettuce

Christmas dinner loaded fries - brined and smoked turkey, sliced PIBs, stuffing, sautéed sprouts served over fries with homemade gravy

Cajun turkey club - brined and smoked turkey, bacon, lettuce, tomato and cheese with a spicy Cajun mayo

The Katflap special - whatever we have available stuffed into a large bap. Comes with a bib, cutlery, disclaimer and possible remorse 🤣🤣

Looking forward to seeing you lovely bunch and feeding you some fun things, for us this is the perfect way to finish off what has been, personally, an incredibly challenging year.

If I don’t have your menu choices by the end of today, then you either won’t get fed or we go old school and you’ll get what you’re given 🤣

****Unfortunately, due to IT issues at the dLeviathan Brewingonderful thing known as month end (IYKYK) this evenings pop up at Leviathan is CANCELLED. ****

I’m so very sorry to anyone who was hoping to smash a kebab but I can’t guarantee I will be able to finish my day job on time so I need to call it now to avoid significant food waste. I’m properly gutted, and so very sorry, but it’s one of those things which is out of my control 😔

We will be back for Sunday lunch on 17/11 and we have a few limited spaces left for bookings so please drop me a message if you are interested.

Hey you guys!!

Just a quick message. I had a replacement phone on Monday and just realised I’m locked out of my grills email! After working 13 days on the trot I didn’t event realise so apologies to anyone who’s tried to reach me! I will be sorting when I get home Monday and I’ll respond then!
