Happy Heavenly Mothers Day to my beautiful mama Renee.❤️ There is not a day that goes by that I do not think of you. Being a wedding planner and seeing girls with their mamas makes me jealous sometimes because I wish I had my mom at my wedding. But then I sit back and remind myself I did have her there.✨ Her presence was very much felt on this day and I feel her all the time around me. As I get older I am also starting to become more like her so I laugh out loud when I do something that she would do, which is A LOT!🥰

If I have one piece of advice, it would be to hold your mama extra tight and tell her how much you love her. I wake up everyday wishing for just one more day with my mom. CHERISH the days you have with yours!✨

One year ago I got the privilege of coordinating a wedding for and it was amazing! Katey + Cory are still one of my favorite couples I have ever met!✨

I remember having a few meetings with them and getting to bring all of the details to life!🤩I remember the weather being SUPER hot and fanning the bride to try and keep her comfortable. I also remember such a fun wedding party who joined in prayer led by the bride’s father before the ceremony started. God was definitely present alongside their loving and supportive friends and family who were all there for these two to tie the knot! So much so they had a bible as their guest book for their guests to highlight their favorite verse and sign as well! (AMAZING idea) Thank you both for putting your faith in me for your wedding day. It is one I will never forget.✨

TUESDAYS TIPS!
Tablescape. Tablescape. Tablescape. I’ll say it again if I have to! TABLESCAPE! ✨

Brides!!! One of the BIGGEST hiccups I see brides have is making decisions on their tablescapes. Do you want exposed farmhouse style or do you want a clean linen look? What do you want on your tables? Do you want chargers, dinnerware, flatware, glassware, runners, candles, place cards, floral, centerpieces, napkins, etc.? Of course there are HUNDREDS of other options to choose from and it can be overwhelming!🫠🫣

No matter what you select for your table you also need to think about how it is all going to get set up or help you style it all! That’s where a planner or coordinator can come in handy!💁🏽‍♀️ Your reception tablescapes usually are the BULK of the wedding set-up with hundreds up to thousands of moving pieces on each table!

This bride in particular selected for a clean and simple tablescape. 🍊She wanted gold flatware, clear water goblets, a knotted napkin, a table runner, some candles, a table number, a floral centerpiece, and a name place card! You can’t go wrong with simplistic! It looked SO GOOD and I still dream of this day!😍
