It was an absolute honor to cook and serve a Middle Eastern themed memorial dinner for the Hiltons last week. I was thrilled to be able to use some info from Salt Fat Acid Heat to make dishes like Lamb Koftas and Persian Rice Pilaf. The family did smores for dessert at the Pavillion grill pit which was such a great idea!

Today was baking basics today. Getting prepped for our special friends Kat and Jared's celebration on Saturday! So much love gets to pour out of us this week and weekend! So before I miss a timer, I'll post a few pre-pre-pre decorate steps, all done with a sugar friendly and chocolate allergy wedding party surprise wedding dessert table. Oh, and I'll tell you that it's grey (dope) and pink (also becoming my jam, some pinks), and Kat was the best Root 41 sister us sisters could ask for without knowing it was possible. She didn't want cake or desserts. Hmpf. Not if I can help it. You'll have choice of cake, Mrs.!
