🎉 Another unique party box to celebrate the baby boy of a dear friend of mine! Her mom and Mother-in-law chose cute sea creatures because the guest of honor has a pet turtle and does research with squid! She enjoys drinking tea and caring for small plants.

I'm looking forward to gathering with her friends and family this weekend! 🩵💙🩵

*New Add-On Option!* Matriarch boxes can be sent to future Grandmas to honor them and provide special items for the shower day, the day your baby is born, and for years to come!

I've had several clients request something special for the future grandmas and great grandmas who attend their showers. This is just a mock-up - actual boxes will be customized with more personalization and color schemes to match the Virtual Shower theme, but I wanted to share what I'm working on!

🎉Party Tip🎉 When sending boxes to Virtual Shower guests, I always personalize to reflect the guest of honor's interests and design the elements to have a color scheme.

For a recent shower, I had fun with a request for a Baby Yoda themed Virtual Baby Shower! "The Child is Coming!" I sent ingredients to make Blue Milk Milkshakes, soaps, cookies and more to each guest. The colors for this box were green and white.

For personal professional development, I've been working on some diy product photography! It's amazing what you can do with a few inexpensive items, new skills, and free editing software!

Join a new mom group, a nursing support group, a church group for new moms, or whatever you can find as a local meet-up while you are on maternity leave and the first few months of being a mom. I love this advice that I heard at a Virtual Shower that I facilitated.

The guest shared that meeting women who are local and at the same phase of parenthood as you can be a great gift! As your babies grow, you can support and learn from each other! This particular guest has remained friends with the women she met 30 years ago when her first baby was born!

Advice I heard... "Don't forget to stop and smell the baby!"

Everyone chuckled, but I keep coming back to it. Babies have a very special smell. It's important to remember to slow down, relax into the snuggles, breathe deeply, and give thanks for your precious gift from God!

I love planning and facilitating virtual baby showers for amazing women! In addition to offering advice, guests hear from the mom-to-be, look at baby pictures, play games, and enjoy refreshments from the comfort of their home.

🥳Follow up with a handwritten note, picture, and notes from each guest!

Each shower I host is intimate and personal, and I think a handwritten thank you note is a perfect final touch.

I know that the pregnant women I celebrate are super busy preparing for their babies. They don't have time to do extra things after the shower, and I want to make sure they have a physical keepsake to remember how much love and support they felt at their shower! The group photo and advice and encouragement from each guest are things they will have forever.

(Protecting the privacy of my clients is very important to me so my post is blurred intentionally. I would never share things without permission.)

"Kellie O'Brien is a gem.

This is our first baby and with Covid we knew we wouldn't be planning an in person event. I wasn't considering doing anything until we attended a friend's shower that Kellie organized. It was so much fun we decided to have Kellie organize a shower for us.

I am so glad we decided to do a virtual shower. We had a great time and got to see friends and family spread across several states. Even in post-pandemic times we would never have been able to pull together so many people from different parts of our lives. There was so much laughter and warmth -- Kellie is a great host and really knows how to keep events upbeat and moving along. She is also great with technology and supporting guests of all ages in participating in the games and conversations.

I'll treasure my memories of this event forever. It was very special and I can't thank Kellie enough for hosting. It allowed us to enjoy the day and truly celebrate this new phase of our lives."
