BOSH JARDA 4 EVENTS

Hey guys, my name is Josh Barda, and I am running to be your JSOC Events Officer. I am a first-year student at the University of Leeds studying International Relations.
Everyone knows that what we have been missing this year is JSOC Events. With me as your Events Officer, I will make sure that everyone will enjoy JSOC events and that students will be able to meet and get to know other Jewish students in their year.
Let’s begin by bringing back and making JSOC events bigger and better than ever before. This is your chance to be at the events of the year. As Events Officer, I will be in charge of organising Themed JSOC Pres which will take place on Halloween/Valentines and on other special occasions. For those who don’t know, JSOC Pres are known for having Unlimited Alcohol and I will make sure to provide food as well. And yes, you heard that right, Unlimited Alcohol. Who doesn’t like that?
Next up, Ladies and Gentlemen, I would like to arrange for the return of certain socials such as the Otley Runs. I would also like to introduce and promote new more chilled socials such as by creating a JSOC MasterChef together with baking events as well as Pyjama movie nights with midnight breakfast and also in the summer term for more casual socials to take place outside of Hillel in the garden area such as BBQs. This is a fun way in which students will be able to connect and get to know each other in a different environment than usual.
