It’s official! After much thought, we’re thrilled to introduce The Parlor—our largest event space here at The Colonial.

True to its name, The Parlor (meaning “a room in a public building for receiving guests”) is a nod to timeless gatherings and warm hospitality.

Our venue was built in the 1961, this space blends classic charm with modern versatility, comfortably seating up to 215 guests for dinner with plenty of room for dancing the night away.

We can’t wait to see the memories created here! 🖤✨

Are we completely crazy for doing a full rebrand and launch of our brand new website in the midst of wedding season ✨ The answer is undoubtedly, YES! What a HUGE undertaking it has been to cull the images and write each word on the new site, but....

We’re beyond thrilled to unveil the new branding for The Colonial at Sunset—a celebration of our history, our roots, and the stories yet to be written here.

This venue has been in our family for decades and we felt we needed this beautiful 1960's Colonial Style Brick Home to tell it’s stories. Every inch of this secluded old Florida estate is infused with charm and character.

With the 6th generation family members operating The Colonial, this place is more than a venue—it’s a legacy. Our new look honors the timeless beauty of our architecture while embracing a lively, fresh perspective. Think nostalgic elegance meets vibrant celebration—a blank canvas waiting for you to make it your own.

A note to all our friends and clients — Happy to report our venue had NO structural damage and no major flooding. We surely got a soaking, trees down, and lots of debris. As soon as the storm passed our team went to work for DAYS getting the venue back in perfect condition. We have an incredible wedding coming up this weekend that we are so excited for. We have been diligently preparing and that has been the main priority. This venue would not even be close to ready if it weren’t for the help of our local businesses getting us on their schedule and helping us get back in tip top shape. Thank you to Herman’s Landscaping/ Tree Trimming and Kru-Kutz landscaping. Another huge thank you to our friends who came and helped us clean and rake, rake, and RAKEEE! This week has been A LOT, but I can officially say WE ARE BACK 🙏 If you have sent an email, we promise we see you and we are doing the best we can and promise we will respond at the beginning of next week.
