Good morning, Beautiful Peeps 🌅

We will reopen today, Sunday, July 14th from 11am to 6pm at the Royal BC Museum! (RBCM)

Monday to Thursday (July 15th-18th): RBMC 11am to 7pm

Friday (July 19th): Maffeo Park, Nanaimo for Food Truck Fridays: 11am to 7pm

Thank you to everyone for all your kind words and understanding. Thank you to all of the staff at the Royal BC Museum for bringing my spirits up on Friday as we catered for a repatriation for a Heiltsuk Chief Seat ❤️🫶🏽

Updates: there will be changes to the menu! We are bringing in a Wild Salmon on Frybread option as of Monday!!!!! We will be removing the doom dog as it slows down the line and it’s been busy this summer - I’m so sorry for this decision. I may keep it on the kids menu only. We will be adding a BLT Salad as well and some minor price changes! Look for updates soon!

Fun fact: Did you know the Indigenous Taco has 28 ingredients and takes a combined 8 hours of prep and cooking to bring you all of the amazing tastes together?! That’s why it’s so delicious ❤️

This is one of the first pictures of the food truck as we bought it from the Manson Family from Tla-lo-quiaht (Tofino). The food truck was stuck in Tla-lo-quiaht due to the fire closing down the highway. I bought it 2 weeks prior and had to wait the for first highway opening. We jumped in the truck and got there as soon as we could and the highway closed right after we got there. It was a bit scary but it reopened the next day. It used to operate as a fish and chips truck - one of my future goals to add to the menu 🙂

Happy 1 Year Anniversary to The Bannock Room! We started on July 1st, 2023 opening for the first time in Campbell River at the Golden Wings tournament and today we spent our one year at the same place! Thank you to everyone for an amazing year! Cheers to many more

We are having an amazing time in Campbell River! My favorite food truck JLA Foods joined us at the Golden Wings Soccer Tournament! ⚽️ 🥅

Daniel had fun playing with the T-Birds U10 team and we’ve been visiting family. 🫶🏽❤️

One more day in Campbell River then we are back in Victoria but taking 3 days off for the food truck maintenance and steam clean. We will reopen July 5th and WE WILL BE OPEN FOR DINNER!!!

We had an amazing National Aboriginal Day! Royal Roads University, Quadra Village Celebration then spent our Saturday at the Royal BC Museum for the Indigenous Artist Market! I absolutely love seeing all of the familiar faces and all the new people trying out some delicious food! Hych’ka, Klecko Klecko, Gilakasla 🤲🏽

We have been voted in the TOP 3 food trucks in Greater Victoria! We find out what we placed on July 31st! ❤️
