It is with great joy and great sadness that I share that I will unfortunately not be offering wedding coordination services in the Frederick area any longer. With our growing family and desire to be closer to our extended families, we’ve made the move back to our home state of NY.

I launched this business a little over a year ago and I honestly can’t speak highly enough of the clients and vendors who welcomed me into this space with open arms! It’s been the best introduction to entrepreneurship and I’m forever grateful for the opportunities I’ve had since the day I opened my doors.

All of that to say, I am not saying goodbye to this business!! After we welcome baby boy #3 into the world in May and settle into our new home, I plan to relaunch in the Syracuse/CNY area. So, to my CNY friends and family, please keep me in mind for those late 2024 and 2025 weddings! ♥️

Over a month late, but it will never be too late to share about L+E’s perfect day at Union Mills in downtown Frederick. Loved every moment of working with this sweet couple. They were easy going, fun, and organized (basically every Coordinators dream!).

My favorite part of the day was how they incorporated a surprise Anniversary Dance in for L’s parents! So thoughtful. So sweet!

H+B 🌿 June 23, 2023

Our first “official” wedding is in the books!

When I first started building this business about a year ago, a representative from my local Small Business Development Center asked who my ideal wedding client was. I truthfully hadn’t put a whole lot of thought into this. Couples who were getting married I guess? 🤣

I remember telling him eventually that ideally my couples are down to earth and fun. All I can say is, GOLLY. H+B certainly delivered! Truly had the best time working with this couple and making sure they had the best day ever ♥️

I’ve been a little MIA over here the past couple of months (I am admittedly the worst when it comes to social media 😑). BUT, the biz is alive and kicking with some super fun events around the corner! In this slow season I’ve been enjoying lots of personal party hosting, which has made my heart so happy ♥️

I started dreaming about this business a little over a year ago and after a lot of work, intention, and thought I finally feel like I’m seeing the fruit of everything I’ve poured into it and many answered prayers.

Over the course of the year I’ve also realized that at the core of everything I do within the events industry is my love for people and hospitality. There is nothing that brings me more joy (other than my twinnies of course 🥰) than creating experiences that make people feel special. This realization has led me to think about the big picture and where I dream of bringing this business one day.

So, as every business often does, I am making a bit of a pivot. I am removing my travel planning services and will focus solely on event planning. I hope to utilize this platform (that I am remarkably good at underutilizing 🤣) to not just share fun event photos, but also to share inspiration on hosting and encouragement for what it looks like to be truly hospitable in our day to day lives.

“Slow growth leads to deep roots.”

I heard this on a podcast recently and it’s really stuck with me. As someone who is naturally inclined to do ALLLLL the things and say yes to everything, starting a business while also raising two little ones has been a totally new and humbling experience. It has forced me to check in regularly with my priorities and given me the gift of being intentional with what projects I say yes to.

I’m 34 and Lord willing have many, many working years ahead of me! But as we ring in 2023 I couldn’t be more excited to be right where I am: Building meaningful relationships with clients, networking with event professionals, and slowly, purposefully building this business!

Sharing meals around the table with the ones we love most is one of life’s most simple joys. I just love the opportunity it gives each of us to learn more about one another, laugh, banter and dream.

I have always loved a beautiful tablescape to complement a meal. Bringing together colors, textures and florals to create an ambiance really just lights me up! 💫

I know it’s not always easy to know where to start though, so I put together a blog post focused on how to create a dreamy tablescape on a budget. A couple of weeks ago I finally launched this business that I had been working on behind the scenes on for months. The following week we found ourselves in the hospital with our two little toddlers who both had complications from RSV (they are both totally okay and on the mend!).

As everything got put on complete hold for 2+ weeks I couldn’t help but think, isn’t this how life goes? We have grand plans for each of our days and then BOOM! Something happens that sends us in a vastly different direction. As I’ve reflected on the entire experience, I’m just so grateful that I was able to step away and give 100% of myself to my family. This is the #1 reason that I started a business and although this was a traumatic experience for all of us, it was reaffirming that I made the right choice.

Excited to be back at it! Cheers to this lovely Autumn we are having here in Frederick!

Hi there! I'm Hannah, the gal behind the scenes at These are the Days Planning and Event Co. After spending much of my career planning events nationally in the nonprofit space and what feels like my entire life planning events for friends and family, I decided to pursue my life long dream of owning my own business.

Planning is something that has always come natural to me. Even as a kid I vividly remember thinking ahead to what I would do the next day and creating checklists of tasks I needed to complete! (Apparently, I was a very busy child...). As I got older and began learning more about myself, I discovered that design, planning, and hospitality are really where my skillset and passions intersect. I am so excited to begin this next chapter of my life as I serve clients who are planning celebrations of their own 🥳

Over the next few days I will be sharing more about the different services available, but for now here are a few fun facts about me!

1. I was born in Kansas and have lived in 6 states since
2. I am a mama to identical twin boys
3. If I were any TV character it would be Monica from Friends
4. I love antique shopping and thrifting
5. My husband and I collect maps from every country we've traveled to and every state we've lived in together!
