What a fantabulous day!! Had so many family, friends and fans come out to enjoy The PolkaMeisters at Saxonburg Oktoberfest today! The crowds were dense all day/night! If you want to experience the biggest Oktoberfest in our region Sunday is your last chance! We will be on the main stage from 1:15-3:15. Come on out and say hello! We will be in our black and gold costumes to cheer on our Steelers! The game will be playing on tv’s so you won’t miss the game.

Meet Jackie Rocket! (aka Jackie Hooper) She is the clarinet/saxophone player in the band. Jackie has been honing her craft since 10 years old and always knew music would play a significant role in her life. Not only does Jackie love playing with The PolkaMeisters, but she is also the founder of Sound Advice Entertainment and has dedicated the past decade to growing a successful entertainment booking agency in the Pittsburgh region and surrounding areas.

Meet Joe Lege! He has been entertaining audiences for a long time. Started learning the accordion at age 4, playing in his Dad's band at age 14, and never stopped since! We are so lucky to have his talent and first-hand knowledge of the old polkas and waltzes that we include in our sets.

Meet Martin Thomas, our tuba player for "The PolkaMeisters"! Look at that shiny silver tuba...he sure knows how to play it! When the spirit moves him he likes to share a joke with our audiences.

Gig tonight at Bakery Square. The client was thrilled with the energy that we brought to his venue. Everyone loved the music and a great time was had by all! The kids danced for hours!
