Parts of The Blue Ridge Parkway are opening up so I went on a long hike the other day. Elevation gain was 1,929 '. Drove west through Maggie Valley,NC to the Soco Gap Overlook. Followed the Mountain-to-Sea-Trail for 4 miles to Waterrock K**b. Here are a few photos of my recent jobs. I did caricatures and also silhouettes at weddings. Warren Wilson College in Swannanoa,NC hired me for their students coming back to campus event. (Swannanoa was greatly effected by tropical storm Helene) I drew at the Cleveland County Fair in Shelby,NC, the Autumn Leaves Festival in Mount Airy,NC and the Lexington BBQ Festival. I drew 37 students from an etiquette school in Spartanburg,SC.

I will be drawing caricatures at the Autumn Leaves Festival in Mount Airy,NC on October 11th, 12th and 13th. The city was used as the inspiration for Mayberry on the Andy Griffith Show.

Hi everyone! I posted on my personal Facebook account and did not give an update here. It has been over a week since hurricane Helene caused damage to Asheville and the surrounding area. I am fine and my house has no damage but it has no power, water and Internet. I do not need anything and I am taking it day by day. After the hurricane I left to work at the Cleveland County Fair in Shelby,NC. The fair is over and I am heading home soon. I hope everyone else who has been affected by the storm is safe.

Cleveland County Fair Inc. is an agricultural organization assisting the development of agricultural education resources in the county and annually includes family fun and entertainment. Fairground facilities are available to rent throughout the year.

Drew at the NC Apple Festival in Hendersonville over Labor Day weekend, the Appalachian Fair in Gray,TN, the Tennessee State Fair in Lebanon,TN, East Tennessee State University in Johnson City,TN, the Asheville Tanger Outlet and the Mount Mitchell Arts & Craft Festival in Burnsville,NC. I will be at the Mountain State Fair in Fletcher,NC starting at the end of the week!
