Mood board inspired by my own wedding; did you know that you can make your own wedding mood boards using Canva? Having a snapshot of your entire wedding vibe can be super helpful if you are trying to make sure all the elements off your wedding jive together.

What's a great, budget friendly way to light your space and provide a romantic vibe to your centerpieces? Candles! Make sure that you check whether or not your venue allows open flame, but candles (real or battery powered) can be a great budget alternative to the more traditional flower centerpieces. If you use real candles, make sure you let your wedding planner know you'll need them lit before your reception and they'll take care of them.

Let's talk about rings.

There are so many options for rings out there that you don't have to spend thousands of dollars to get the diamond ring in gold. If that is your style, great! But there are ring options for every style and every budget. You can get rings that match with each other, or get rings that express you and your partner's individual styles.

Detail shots not only provide unique and stunning wedding photos, but also give you a chance to show off those elements that have a lot of meaning to you. Take the example from my own wedding, I had two bouquet charms with pictures of my dad, who passed away in 2010. It was an important detail and this shot captures it so perfectly.
Make sure that you ask your photographer to capture any details you want to commemorate of your big day.
