Thank you for your incredible spirit and enthusiasm in supporting the My Natural Me Fashion Show, benefiting our Dementia Caregivers Program. We truly appreciate your patience as we navigated the challenges earlier this year.

Mark your calendars! The show is rescheduled for Friday, November 8 at 5:00 PM at the Courtyard by Marriott Dulles Airport Herndon. This year’s theme is “Fashion through the Centuries,” starting with the fabulous 1960s! 🎉

Models, get ready to unleash your creativity by showcasing your unique style with pieces from your own closet. You can choose which century to represent!

Volunteer Commitments:

Zoom Prep Call: October (details to follow)
Event Day: Arrive by 2 PM on Nov 8
Wardrobe: Shop your closet, but reach out if you need help!

Whew Chile, the amount of knots and kinks in my back, neck and shoulders from my 2023 workload was unreal. So grateful for a day to slow down and get back to my self-care routines. Lesson: please take care of your mind and body. If you don’t, then who will? The hustling is ok but just remember we all need recharging!

Repast decor

Did you know you can hire B2E to handle your family members repast meal? This allows you to focus on organizing the funeral service and burial without the added stress of coordinating the feeding.

And yes, last minute requests are accepted if we’re available. This particular client reached out less than a week ago and requested a particular look. So glad we were able to accommodate her!

This is a rare sighting…..me in the office on a Monday. Anyone who knows me, I prefer the remote work life. But with an upcoming 700 person conference, I needed all 3 screens. (For those who don’t know, I’m also an events/conference planner at my full time job)

I’m trying not to have a case of the Mondays and think positive thoughts. Here’s what I’m reflecting on to elk that…….I get to have natural light as I work and get to have a view into DC.

Any of my full time work/full time entrepreneur friends having a case of the Mondays too? Comment below so I know I’m not alone!

1 Year LLC-versary!

Wow, I can’t believe it! One year as an LLC and I couldn’t be happier or more proud! There have been many tears, DOUBTS, nervousness and sleeplessness nights BUT even more blessings, amazing clients, support from family/friends and learning experiences.

A huge thank you to those who have been along for the ride and those who just joined my journey! Especially those who pushed me creatively, even when I doubted myself.

For those who don’t know me personally yet, here are some fun facts about me:

1. My name is Michelle but those close to me call me Chelle (used to be spelled Cheyl 🙃)
2. I’m a wife, mom of 4 and MiMi to 2
3. I’m originally from Highland Springs, VA
4. My background is banking, program/project management and events
5. My very first event was my older sisters baby shower when I was 16
6. When I’m not planning events, I love to volunteer in a public ministry, cook and spend time with those I love

What’s that saying?
“New year, new me”? Well it is a new year and a new month but that’s not the purpose of this post. Wait for it…….

There’s a new B2E! Yes! There is a rebrand happening and I’m super excited!

I want to give a HUGE shoutout to my girl Tracey (HSHS unite 🙃) for upgrading my logo! Instead of my usual blue and dark, I went with softer, lighter and romantic tones.

I can’t wait to share with you another exciting change for B2E! Stay tuned!!!!!
