FAQs
- Where is the show? On the B3908 between Bratton and Westbury. If you use What Three Words, we are at tables.movements.cured.

- How much does it cost to get in? The event is a bargain £5 for adults, and under 18s go free.

- Is there parking? Yes, there is parking provided

- What time does the event open? We kick off the activities at 10am. You can arrive from 9.30am and we close at 5pm

- Is there a programme so I can see what is happening on the day? There will be information on arrival and at each of the zones, so you might want to take a photo or two. We'll be posting information up to this site too.

- Are dogs permitted? Yes, but on a lead at all times. Please be aware that there will be crowds, bangs, gun shots, air sirens etc so the event may not be suitable for dogs of a nervous disposition. Please be sure to clean up after your dog!

- Will I be able to buy food and drink? Yes, there are food stands around the grounds, and a beer tent on the Village Green. Some traders have card readers, but you may want to have some cash to hand. You are welcome to bring your own along with a picnic blanket or chairs; please respect those facilities put out by the traders for their customers.

- Can I smoke? We'd prefer that you didnt, given the current levels of fire risk, but if you do need to light up (outside only), please ask a marshal for instructions.

- Will there be traders? Yes, we have a wide range of traders on site selling military equipment and supplies, vintage clothing, memorabilia etc. Some traders have card readers but the signal on site is not very strong so do have some cash to hand if you want to shop til you drop.

- Is this event suitable for small children? It depends on your child: there will be crowds, bangs, gun shots, air raids etc but most children will love this. The exhibitors especially enjoy talking to kids, and getting them involved! Oh, and there's the 1940s cinema and the Entertainments marquee too.

The fabulous line up in the Entertainments marquee. We'll publish all of the show timings at the end of the week, and updates over the weekend.

One of many things you can do at the show is drop in to Mark Barton's 1940s cinema to see some actual celluloid feature films. Some films you will be able to see are, on 16mm film, Kelly's Heroes, The Battle of Britain, Torpedo Run (plus possibly The Desert Rats and Foxhole in Cairo) and on super 8mm film: The Dambusters, Reach for the Sky, Above Us The Waves and Carve Her Name with Pride. And also a 1945 Pathe News reel about Victory in Europe.

These films (and the projection equipment!) are very old, so picture quality will not be HD (some film fades to red tones), expect the occasional film break or lamp blowing...it's all part of the 1940s cinema experience!
