Today we are sharing Paige's Pre-Wedding Rituals!

Starts the night before…
✅ day-of docs printed and memorized
✅ car packed with e-kit and wagon dolly
✅ f***y pack re-loaded and ready
✅ event attire chosen and laid
✅ personal day-of essentials packed, including deodorant for that needed re-apply
✅ green stripe canvas bag loaded with snacks, water, sunscreen, assistant clipboards, charger & more

Morning of the event…
✅ Text sent to couple saying “Happy Day & Reminder to “take in the moments”
✅ Cup of java… or two
✅ Powerbowl breakfast (it’s my fuel go-to for the day)
✅ Check 3x that I have everything
✅ Arrive to venue an hour ahead of schedule for time to unload & visualize the day on-site

Something we always instruct our brides/bridesmaids to do while holding their bouquets: hold with your hands in front of your belly button.... this is the perfect height for your bouquet! 💐 Not too high (you don't want the bouquet right under your chin) and not too low (you still want it to be in front of your upper body) 🤌

Let's talk bridal shoes! Here are some factors to consider when choosing your bridal shoes:

👠What type of ground/flooring will you be walking on during your wedding? Grass, sand, dirt, carpet, tile, etc.?

🥿How much walking will you have to do? Is your wedding at a small contained venue, or a large sprawling resort?

👢What season is your wedding? Would you want to consider a sandal or boot in lieu of a traditional heel?

👡Do you want a second pair of shoes for your reception/dancing?

👠Do you want more or less height in photos alongside your new spouse?

Today's *C*O*U*P*L*E*S* *S*P*O*T*L*I*G*H*T* is on the ultimate glamorous tropical "wedding" -- which was actually Erika & Jamie's 1 year anniversary celebration at The Prado in Balboa Park! They were married in a small private ceremony 1 year prior in Maui, so they wanted their anniversary celebration to be a combination of tropical (a nod to Maui) & glamorous (a nod to their venue, The Prado). Today we are sharing Ashley's Pre-Wedding Rituals!

✅️Go through personal items, organize by area and confirm all es**rt cards/place cards are in order.

📷️Let photo/video/hair and makeup know which room numbers the couple will be in on the wedding day.

🚗Pack emergency kit and wagon in car, confirm f***y pack is replenished and iPad is charged and loaded with all documents.

🤳Text "happy wedding day" to couple!

💄Confirm hair and makeup is on time and morning is running smoothly.

🖤Arrive an hour early, dressed in all black with a sensible sneaker, f***y pack on, name tag on, ready to unload the personal items and check in on my couple!

50 guests: 12'x12'
75 Guests: 15'x15'
100 Guests: 18'x18'
150 Guests: 21'x21'
200 Guests: 24'x24'

* These sizes can increase/decrease depending on how many people you estimate will be dancing at your wedding!

Q: Why do photographers/videographers start shooting hours before the ceremony even starts?

A: To shoot "getting ready photos/video"! These photos/video become part of their storytelling as they create your photo album or video after the wedding.

Re-purpose your ceremony florals in your reception! 💐

These floral arrangements at the back of the ceremony aisle can be re-purposed as centerpieces in the reception... your budget money will go further if you do this! 💰️

Ask your professional floral designer if they can transfer your ceremony florals to your reception during cocktail hour 👍🏽
