Not my usual funeral celebrant attire! Today, was about saying goodbye to a Birmingham City fan and the family requested attendees wear their football shirts. It was a truly beautiful service if I do say so myself ☺️

I love gardening and sweet peas always remind me of my grandad who had a beautiful veg garden and greenhouse. As I grew up and visited he would pick a bunch of sweet peas and wrap them I. Some newspaper for me to take home. Really treasured memories of my grandad who was a beautiful, gentle soul. Today I picked these and took them with me to give to a funeral visit and gave to the family

You don’t have to go for a traditional hearse - think motorcycle hearse, tractor, Land Rover or bicycle. have a great choice or you can use a landrover or even your own car or van!

Possibly the only non- controversial thing Miriam has ever said!
And, of course, she's right!😁
When our clubbers come along to a Coffin Club Funeral-planning Course the thing they most often say is, 'I had no idea how little I knew!', We have been led to believe that a funeral is 30minutes up the crem or a faith-based service with a 'do' afterwards. ⚰️🍰
Those are two very valid choices and can be very lovely and very meaningful - but they are definitely not the only choices available to you.
With Coffin Clubs popping up all over the country, there may well soon be a course near you and, if not, we're currently working in a downloadable version of the course so that no one ever needs to die in ignorance!

Outdoor ceremonies are THE best, and the rain held off for Matt and Dawn too. There was birdsong, chickens and even a goat popped down the aisle.
