The reason there have been very few flower photos/progress is because...
Our only kitchen/bathroom tap and shower for the last 22 weeks has been this but it just got UPGRADED. Unfinished but feels soooo good to have running water and a shower inside! Let's hope this shower stays hot and the shower won't keep blowing away.
Looking forward to finding more time for the garden soon and sharing the progress.

The truth about Pope John Paul ll from .
This particular rose was 1 of 2 roses given to me by my husband as a gift last year. When I found out there were rose gifts arriving, I was filled with excitement and expectation. Knowing that only months earlier, I had shown him countless pictures of David Austin roses in blush pinks and dusky apricots that I was keen to purchase. Oh did l have expectations. So, to be brutally honest, when I received 2 white Hybrid Teas I was a little underwhelmed and somewhat ungrateful, some would say.
Well, as I have now enjoyed the perfume of just 1 rose for the past 24hrs in the house. I owe my husband an apology it was a beautiful and thoughtful gift. You chose well babe! .alison.9dxdrdrdxcrdcfdr2

And some more truths about it, it looks like a really strong grower, lots of buds and great stem length!

I have been having fun starting to establish a new garden and as a thank you to some of my loyal customers while I was in business I would like to give away a few bunches of dahlias over the coming week. If you are heading to or from town and have time to pop in and fill a few jars flick me a message. I am now located in Springfield.

Planting on a bank in clay soil is hard work. I would say I am just over 1/2 way. But for now it is time to take a break for a few weeks and enjoy the water. Today's planting effort nearly broke me. Hope it will make it all the more rewarding to watch the space grow.

27 cubes of post peelings to be moved but hand. A huge family effort to cover 1/3 of the bank last night.

My engineers have decided I need a 925sq m effluent soakage field, of which 725 sq m have to be planted. So here is the beginning of my 725 hydrangea plants. Hoping it is going to look agaz8ng and be far more in keeping with the rest of the garden than 725 natives.
