A couple weeks ago I posted oysters on 24”x24” canvas… well, I loved this one so much, I decided to make minis! These oyster duos are on an 8”x8” canvas & they will be available for purchase at the Art Show THIS SATURDAY!

Took a break from painting to celebrate our favorite gal, Mal 💗
The second in my metal-leafed canvas series! I loved doing this piece because it explored a different side of art that I’m used to… normally, I’m one for straight lines & a plan of drawing. But, in this piece & the one before it, I tried to focus on letting the natural form & waves take place instead of being confined to a plan.

I did a series of metal leafed canvases. Word of advise to anyone wanting to gold (or silver) leaf, prepare yourself for the flakes to be EVERY WHERE. I still have flakes ingrained on my floors 🙈

On December 4th, Gretna will be holding its annual festival! I started La Fête to help people bring their balloon decorating dreams to life as well as create custom pieces of champagne art. However, my first love will always be painting. That is why I am so excited to announce that I will be participating as an art vendor at this year’s ! I’m so dang excited, nervous, & everything in between! If you’re in the area on DECEMBER 4TH, come check my booth & so many other ~far more talented~ artists’ booths out!!!
For the next couple of weeks leading up to the event, I will be posting some of my art pieces that will be featured & for sale at the festival!
