Prices start at $50/hr for private parties and $100/hr for events.

My availability is extremely limited and spots fill up fast!

This is going to be super fun—carnival time!

Calling all friends and neighbors! On August 1st, from 5-8pm, HDC will be hosting a National Night Out event at Memorial Park. Bring your family and friends for an evening of fun activities, including popcorn, cotton candy, face painting and more. This event is free and open to everyone, so don't miss out! We look forward to seeing you there!

This is gonna be so much fun!!

Celebrate summer at the library's Garden Party for kids at Billings Park on August 3 from 2-4 p.m.! We'll gather at Pavilion 2 for an afternoon of crafts, live music performed by Born Too Late, ice cream provided by Sweeden Sweets (sponsored by the Casper family), face painting by Jessica Pearson of Arty Party Face Paint, sidewalk chalk art, and a StoryWalk®! Kids of all ages are invited to attend! This event will be held rain or shine!

Unfortunate update! My favorite event of the year has been rescheduled due to inclement weather ☹️ I will not be able to be at the new date in September, but there’s plenty of summer left so maybe I’ll still see you around town!

For some reason Mother Nature decided tomorrow would be the day for threats of strong storms. We have decided to play it safe and move the Ice Cream Social to Wednesday, September 13, 2023. Same time...same place! Check back for updates on the music!

Today's the day!! Here is the map for this year's amazing ice cream social, which will be going from 5:30-8:30 this evening. We will have a shuttle bus running the whole time from Barker's Island over to Fairlawn, so don't worry about parking!

Thank you to everyone who came down to Family Fun Day/Porchfest at the Old Firehouse and Police Museum tonight. I met (and painted) some awesome people, heard some good tunes, and had an overall great time!

My almost two year old was too nervous to let me put a paint brush anywhere near his face, but he did hold still for about 45 seconds while I scribbled out his favorite character

Went to the Head of the Lakes Fair with my kids this weekend and they had face painting in the petting zoo! I didn’t know we were quite to that comfort level yet, but it definitely got me all excited to get painting again!

Now that things are opening up and we’re not all completely housebound, I thought it time to check in here. 😊

Obviously face painting is a very up close and personal activity full of cross contamination. It’s pretty much impossible to keep necessary supplies adequately sanitized. Kids touch e v e r y t h i n g and are not good at keeping to themselves or waiting their turn.

That being said... I’m willing to start scheduling events again, with certain safety measures in place, for all you fearless rogues 😉
