3 and a half years ago after moving to Christchurch I picked up my first set of decks to keep me company as I didn’t know many people here. It didn’t take long till I was completely obsessed.

I would always be jumping round like a mad man in the kitchen by myself throwing my hands in the air 😂 Visualising the moment I would get the opportunity to play at a summer festival 🎶

Been working my ass off lately and I feel so privileged to be a part of this massive lineup. Can’t wait to share what I’ve been working on 😤

To be completely honest, I’ve been getting a little down due to not playing as many gigs as frequently as other times in the past year.

It sounds stupid I know, but like many of you I hold myself to a high standard in everything I do, and if I feel I’m not seeing progress, it does tend to take a toll on the mental health.

Just a friendly reminder to anyone that might be experiencing similar feelings of self-doubt in areas of their own lives, be persistent and continue to fill your life with the things that make you happy, passion only dies if you let it and you WILL continue to grow 💫

With drum and bass becoming a lot more mainstream recently, and a lot of people making the transition from ‘town’ etc. I have noticed a few unwanted behaviors at gigs recently. Here is my gig forecast for 2021 💫

*People who think it’s okay to grab girls

*People who get pushy
*Moshpits
*People not respecting security/staff/promoters

Wtf even is New Zealand right now? 🇳🇿 The rest of the world is in lockdown and last weekend there were at least 4 massive festivals that I know of across the country stacked with big internationals, and incredible local talent! 💥

Even our prime minister is a bloody DJ! I dedicate this mix to aunty cindy and all the breathers/breathettes out there every weekend showing how grateful we are to be able to do this s**t right now 🙏
