🔊 On 20 January Hibration and Fem* Sound Connection invite you to the first bass session in 2024. This time there will be all kinds of bass music, no genre, on the Hibration Soundsystem in the basement of Café Knallhart. With very special super nice guests. We are delighted that Cate Hops from Berlin is making her way to us and bass down the borders. 🔊

⚡️ FemSoundconnection is a DJ collective from Hamburg. From heavy Dubs to Modern Roots, from Dubstep to grimy beatz and everything in between, the musical spectrum is very diverse. Originating from the Hamburg sub-bass and sound system scene, they shake up subcultural bass & sound system events and various festivals. Always true to the motto "we should all be feminists". ⚡️

⚡️ Cate Hops is a dj, radio host, anthropologist and performer. Musically, she embeds herself within Berlin’s bass and noise scene fusing ambient and dub with futuristic sound patterns from all fields. When listening to one of her sets, one can expect a versatile ride through time and space driven by ever-changing percussion rhythms and heavy bass sequences.
Recently she also started working on live noise improvisation. With the ongoing project “Sound System Culture: On the Radical Roots of Rave”, she launches events where the participating audience becomes an active creator. In her radio show, she invites guests of her network to discuss with and play their favourite sound system tunes. ⚡️

A new session calendar for Hamburgs Reggae & Dub Soundsystems!

Inspired by a friend who came to HH for the first time and found it really hard to find info about Soundsystem sessions, the idea was born to create a new and easier way to find sessions in Hamburg. A facebook site, run by members of all crews. Filled with all the fresh information about dates. Unity style. But not only a facebook site: In order to reach people, who aren’t on facebook, there is a channel on Telegram.
