our next theatre production! Tashina Chivonne Richardson (she/her/hers) is a freelance director, actor, designer, and event planner. Originally from Texas, she has run and worked with multiple theatre companies, including Blank Line Collective, Sundown Collaborative Theatre, and Agency Theater Collective. She currently co-produces a monthly artistic happening called This Is Not A Show. Tashina is a q***r artist who enjoys devising theatre and promoting diversity in art. Joshleigh Matilda Rowe (she/her/hers) is an actor, musician, writer, and visual artist. Born and raised in Northwest Indiana, she always dreamed of living in the Windy City, a dream which became a reality back in 2005. Since then, she has had the pleasure of finding herself surrounded by countless numbers of amazing and inspiring artists and creatives who’ve helped her become the woman she is today. Joshleigh is also an out and proud trans woman and strives to create spaces where people from all walks of life can have a voice.

When we first started, we had some inconsistent online handles. But now that we've got all this time on our hands, we've finally corrected that!

We're now using across all our platforms, and we're working on a website as well. Understandably, there's not much in the pipeline for us artistically but we've enjoyed updating our online presence! Hope you're all keeping healthy and safe. ❤🧡💛💚💙💜

Thanks to everyone who came out and saw our very first production!! started as a kernel of an idea last summer, and these 7 people brought it to life in just 5 weeks. Kudos to our creators, and the audience that supported them.

We also want to thank The Lincoln Loft, who has been an advocate for since they first began 9 years ago. This show wouldn't exist without you!

Here's one last creator on the day of the last show! Aaron is an actor, writer, and improvisor who has been devising for nearly ten years. He's a transplant from Texas who loves dogs, beer, and sports (not necessarily in that order).

Say hi to Irene and Ethan, stars of the eerie "music box" dance in ! Irene is a dancer and writer who kicked our butts with some much-needed ballet classes during this process, and Ethan is an actor and producer who gave the gifts of practical lights and masks for our show.

Meet Anna Yee and Joshleigh Rowe - they're quite a pair in !! Anna is an actor, model, and dancer who continually cracks us up in her Snack Crate videos, and Joshleigh is an actor and musician who co-produces This Is Not A Show every month.

Did you know Marie van Goethem was the real name of Degas's sculpture The Little Dancer of Fourteen Years? Gabby Soleil is playing Marie in , which only has 3 performances left! When she's not creating art (including poetry and music), Gabby enjoys cooking and tending to her plants.

We're just one day away from our WORLD PREMIERE of !! (Yeah we're saying "world premiere," it sounds fancy AND it's true)

This original creation about and ballet dancers is less than an hour long, so take a little time to come see it! Tickets are PWYC and seating is first-come, first-serve.

We started rehearsals this week for "Devised Degas" (title still pending!), and could use your help in obtaining some items. We'll add to this list as needed, but PLEASE hit us up if you can help! While we can't offer free tickets (it's a PWYC show after all), we CAN offer you two free drinks of your choice when you attend.

- Two (2) lightweight benches with no back
- Interior wall paint: white, black, brown, or pastels - all matte

Inspired by the Edgar Degas paintings of ballet dancers, this devised production will explore the complicated relationship between who an artist is and what they create.
