WrestleMania Sunday Match Card

WWE Champion Brock Lesnar vs. Universal Champion Roman Reigns (Winner Take All Championship Unification)

The table has been set. 2022 Royal Rumble winner and WWE Champion Brock Lesnar has chosen to battle Roman Reigns in The Biggest WrestleMania Match of All-Time. It's WINNER TAKE ALL in a highly anticipated Championship Unification Match on WrestleMania Sunday. Although Lesnar was originally scheduled to challenge The Head of the Table at WWE Day 1, Reigns tested positive for COVID-19 and was unable to defend the Universal Title at the first Premier Live Event of the year. After being fired by Reigns days earlier, however, Paul Heyman once again took on the role of Advocate for Lesnar and negotiated for his client to be added to the Day 1WWE Title Fatal 4-Way Match instead. Thanks to Heyman’s maneuvering, The Beast was free to conquer the field and claim the WWE Championship. During Lesnar’s WWE Title defense against Bobby Lashley at Royal Rumble, Reigns suddenly emerged when the referee was down and used some surprise help from the treacherous Heyman to strike Brock with the title and allow Lashley to reclaim his WWE Championship. The WWE Universe would not have to wait to see how Lesnar would react. On the same night, the furious Beast stormed his way to the ring as a surprise entrant in the Royal Rumble Match and claimed victory in dominant fashion. With the right to challenge the World Champion of his choosing, Lesnar emerged the following night on Raw and immediately chose to go to war with the Universal Champion. As a result, Reigns will finally have his showdown against The Conqueror on The Grandest Stage of Them All! Then at WWE Elimination Chamber, titleholder Bobby Lashley was removed from the competition due to concussion protocol. This paved the way for The Beast to triumph in the Elimination Chamber Match to reclaim the WWE Championship. As a result, WrestleMania will now be a Championship Unification Match!

Edge vs. AJ Styles

Two of WWE’s most influential and successful Superstars will collide on The Grandest Stage of Them All as Edge and AJ Styles square off in a potential show-stealing match at WrestleMania 38.

Women’s Tag Team Champions Queen Zelina & Carmella vs. Sasha Banks & Naomi vs. Rhea Ripley & Liv Morgan vs. Natalya & Shayna Baszler

At WrestleMania, Queen Zelina & Carmella will attempt to retain their Women’s Tag Team Championship against Sasha Banks & Naomi, Rhea Ripley & Liv Morgan, and Natalya & Shayna Baszler in a massive Fatal 4-Way Match. On the Feb 25. edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Banks made an explosive return to the blue brand when she defeated the rebellious Shotzi with Naomi watching from SmackDown commentary. After the match, Naomi stunned the WWE Universe when she entered the ring and declared that she and Banks were the next Women's Tag Team Champions! The crafty combination of Queen Zelina and Carmella has proven to be as dangerous as they are confident since capturing the titles last November. So confident, in fact, that they did not hesitate to respond to the challenge from The Glow and The Boss days later and assured that they would retain. The showdown added even more explosiveness when Ripley & Morgan teamed up for a win over Zelina & Carmela to earn a spot in the championship clash before Natalya & Baszler inserted themselves into the title picture with a surprise attack on Banks, Naomi, Ripley and Morgan during the two teams' showdown on the March 18 edition of SmackDown. Who will walk off The Grandest Stage of Them All with the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles?

Raw Tag Team Champions RK-Bro vs. The Street Profits vs. Alpha Academy (Triple Threat Match)

Bobby Lashley vs. Omos

The Giant vs. The All Mighty; a towering showdown barely big enough to fit on The Grandest Stage of Them All.

Pat McAfee vs. Austin Theory

Johnny Knoxville vs. Sami Zayn (Anything Goes Match)

Johnny Knoxville will look to make a “Jackass” out of Sami Zayn when the two bitter adversaries clash on WrestleMania Sunday. Johnny Knoxville will look to make a “Jackass” out of Sami Zayn when the two bitter adversaries clash in an Anything Goes Match on WrestleMania Sunday! The tremendous animosity began when Knoxville first came to WWE on a quest to enter the 2022 Royal Rumble Match, and The Master Strategist took it upon himself to inform the Jackass star that he didn’t belong. This lit the fuse on a volatile back-and-forth that quickly spun out of control. In addition to numerous physical confrontations on SmackDown and at the Royal Rumble, they also executed a series of antics on one another that included Zayn attempting to out-“Jackass” his foe with the creation of the “InZayn” stunt show and crashing the “Jackass Forever” Red Carpet Premiere, while Knoxville hit Zayn with The Master Strategist's own cattle prod and crashed a WWE Pop Up store in order to shred his adversary’s t-shirt. When Zayn captured his third Intercontinental Championship from Shinsuke Nakamura, Knoxville emerged the following week on SmackDown to challenge the new titleholder. Zayn once again attempted to belittle Knoxville by telling him that he didn’t belong in WWE before unleashing a vicious attack. In response, Knoxville helped Ricochet defeat Zayn for the Intercontinental Title one week later. Irate over the loss of the workhorse title after just two weeks, Zayn demanded a match at WrestleMania, and Knoxville happily accepted. Not done tormenting Zayn, Knoxville continued to up the stakes in their evolving prank battle by flying Zayn's phone number around Los Angeles, resulting in The Master Strategist upping the stakes of their showdown to an Anything Goes Match.

Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston vs. Sheamus & Ridge Holland

The WWE Universe could witness a New Day of redemption at The Showcase of the Immortals when Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston take on Sheamus & Ridge Holland on WrestleMania Sunday. After former WWE Champion Big E suffered a serious injury in tag team action, Sheamus and his tough-as-nails new associate Butch helped Ridge Holland defeat Kofi Kingston the following week on SmackDown. One week later, however, Kingston surprised his adversaries by introducing the formerly injured King Woods to take his place in a singles bout with Holland. The returning Superstar entered the squared circle with explosive resolve and emerged victorious with a small package. Although Woods and Kingston achieved some payback with the win, animosity remains high for what is sure to be an incredible showdown between tag team rivals, who will collide on WrestleMania Sunday! Humberto and Angel to challenge Ricochet in Intercontinental Title Triple Threat Match

Don’t miss the title showdown as part of WrestleMania SmackDown.

Don't miss "Happy Talk" with a special guest - Drew McIntyre's sword, Angela.

On WrestleMania Raw, Happy Corbin's swift retreat from a Handicap Match paved the way for Drew McIntyre to get the win over him and Madcap Moss. Immediately after the bell, however, Corbin attacked the The Scottish Warrior from behind, hit End of Days and stole his beloved sword Angela! Now, just one day before battling The Scottish Warrior on WrestleMania Saturday, the brash Corbin will welcome his speciel guest Angela onto another episode of "Happy Talk." In a move that is sure to draw the ire of his adversary, will Happy Corbin even make it to The Grandest Stage of Them All? Don't miss a special WrestleMania SmackDown, this Friday at 8/7 C on FOX.

The recipient of the 2022 Warrior Award goes to Shad Gaspard for his heroic actions at Venice Beach in May of 2020

Former WWE superstar Shad Gaspard went out in 2020 as an undeniable hero to fans and friends around the world. Two years following his tragic sacrifice to save the life of his 10-year-old son, Gaspard is now receiving a posthumous honor as this year's recipient of WWE's "Warrior Award" at the company's 2022 Hall of Fame induction ceremony.

An award named for the late, great WWE Hall of Famer 'The Ultimate Warrior', the Warrior Award is presented to an individual who "exhibited unwavering strength and perseverance, and who lives life with the courage and compassion that embodies the indomitable spirit of The Ultimate Warrior." In making the ultimate effort and sacrifice to preserve the life of his son, Gaspard has been described by fan and superstar alike as most fitting of that description and the most deserving of this year's honor.

The incident in question that led to Gaspard making his noble sacrifice came in May 2020 on a Sunday afternoon when he and his son Aryeh were out swimming in the ocean near Venice Beach in Los Angeles. A dangerous rip current suddenly came out of nowhere, pulling the two out to sea, where they were constantly being battered by 8-foot waves. Lifeguards were immediately on the scene, but Gaspard wasted no time in convincing them to pick up Aryeh first with an affirming, "save my son," before he himself was swept out by another wave.

Despite the lifeguard's best efforts, he sadly wouldn't be found until three days later, when a body matching Gaspard's description washed up on the Venice Beach shore early Wednesday morning and was confirmed by local police to be the former WWE superstar himself. Gaspard is survived by his son Aryeh and his wife, Siliana Gaspard, the latter of whom will be accepting the Warrior Award on his behalf. The 39-year-old joins seven other recipients of the award: Connor “The Crusher” Michalek (2015), Joan Lunden (2016), Eric LeGrand (2017), Jarrius “JJ” Robertson (2018), Sue Aitchison (2019), Titus O’Neil (2020), and Rich Hering (2021).

It cannot be stated enough how deserving Gaspard is of this. The first instinct of any good parent should be preserving and maintaining the lives of their children, and Gaspard embodied that notion in spades by putting the safety of Aryeh above all else, even at the cost of his own life. Undertaker, Vader and others will have their legacies cemented in the WWE Hall of Fame, but Gaspard is a true immortal in the eyes of fans, friends and family alike.

WWE Raw preview, March 21, 2022: Becky Lynch to address her brutal attack on Bianca Belair

In a wake of her vicious attack on Bianca Belair last week, Raw Women's Champion Becky Lynch will address her actions against her WrestleMania opponent. Plus, AJ Styles returns from a merciless beat down at the hands of Edge, Raw Tag Team Champions RK-Bro take on Alpha Academy and United States Champion Finn Bálor seeks retribution on Austin Theory. Don't miss all the action of Raw, tonight at 8/7 C on USA.

Becky Lynch to address her brutal attack on Bianca Belair

Moments after Bianca Belair took down the powerful Doudrop with the K.O.D. last week, Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch suddenly unleashed a brutal post-match assault on her WrestleMania challenger, which resulted in The EST of WWE suffering a fractured hyoid bone in her throat. That injury will keep Belair out of action of an unspecified amount of time as she recovers. In the wake of the onslaught, Big Time Becks will address her vicious assault on The Road to WrestleMania!

AJ Styles to returns tonight

Moments after Edge proclaimed on Monday Night Raw that he will judge AJ Styles from his “Mountain of Omnipotence” if his opponent shows at WrestleMania, The Phenomenal One tweeted back with absolute resolve. "I don’t know where you got this garbage," Styles stated, "but one thing I will grant YOU … is fair warning. I’m coming back to Raw next week and you better prepare yourself…stupid haircut, dramatic lighting, and all." What will happen when Styles returns to get payback after the brutal assault from The Rated-R Superstar several weeks ago.

RK-Bro to take on Alpha Academy

After RK-Bro agreed to a WrestleMania title match against The Street Profits one week ago, Riddle took on Montez Ford one-on-one. Before a winner could be determined, however, The Alpha Academy suddenly emerged to take down both tandems. Find out what will happen when Randy Orton & Riddle go head-to-head with Chad Gable & Otis in a matchup of pure redemption.

Finn Bálor looks for retribution on Austin Theory

Last week, Austin Theory interfered and cost new United States Champion Finn Bálor a match against Damian Priest. He then added insult to injury by hitting The Prince with a post-match ATL and a humiliating selfie. Don’t miss when Bálor comes looking for payback on Theory in one-on-one action, tonight at 8/7 C on Raw.

WWE Raw preview, March 7, 2022: The Raw Tag Team Title Triple Threat Match to kick off Raw tonight

On The Road to WrestleMania, Alpha Academy will attempt to defend their Raw Tag Team Titles in Triple Threat Match against RK-Bro and Seth Rollins & Kevin Owens. Plus, special guest Jerry “The King” Lawler returns to Monday Night Raw, Edge explains his vicious beat down of AJ Styles and Logan Paul returns to Raw to throw a Homecoming Party with The Miz. Don't miss all the action this tonight at 8/7 C on USA!

Alpha Academy set to defend Raw Tag Team Championship in Triple Threat Match

RK-Bro already jumped through hoops to earn a Raw Tag Team Championship opportunity against Alpha Academy, besting the duo in the Academic Challenge to secure their match, but now there is one more wrinkle in their journey to reclaim the titles: Seth “Freakin” Rollins & Kevin Owens. The two friends weaseled their way into the Tag Team Title picture after petitioning for a match against Randy Orton & Riddle on Monday Night Raw, defeating the former tag team champions in a wild main event to be added to the championship match in two weeks’ time. With the math no longer in their favor, will Master Chad Gable and the immovable tree trunk Otis be able to buck the odds and overcome the combined efforts of RK-Bro and Rollins & Owens?

Jerry “The King” Lawler returns to Monday Night Raw

All hail The King!

After nearly two years, Jerry “The King” Lawler is set to make a special guest appearance on the red brand. What will the WWE Hall of Famer say during his grand return to Raw?

Edge to explain his vicious beatdown of AJ Styles

Why Edge, Why?

It’s the question on the mind of the WWE Universe after The Rated-R Superstar’s brutal attack on AJ Styles this past Monday. After Edge called out the entire locker room in search of a WrestleMania 38 opponent, The Phenomenal One made his way to the ring to answer the challenge. The Ultimate Opportunist then shocked the universe by jumping Styles and grounding him with a low blow before delivering two thunderous Con-Chair-Tos.

Logan Paul returns to Raw to throw a Homecoming Party with The Miz

Two of Cleveland’s finest are back in “The 216” and are ready to celebrate as The Miz and his WrestleMania 38 tag team partner Logan Paul will throw a homecoming celebration this Monday night. What will the social media superstar and The A-Lister have in store for the WWE Universe once they are back on their old stomping grounds and with their showdown against The Mysterios on The Grandest Stage of Them All looming large? Find out this Monday night on Raw at 8/7 C on USA!

WHAT HAPPENED AT THE ROYAL RUMBLE?

Immediately after Ronda Rousey's victory in the thirty women match, which will allow the returning athlete to choose a world champion between Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch as her opponent at Wrestlemania 38, as is the practice of the winner or the winner of the Rumble, Ronda has indicated the Wrestlemania logo present on the ceiling of the arena, with the WWE which, as every year, has activated the fireworks attached to this logo.

What no one expected, however, is that this logo would literally begin to melt, with fans sitting under the Wrestlemania billboard, hearing a shower of debris and WWE scenery pieces from the very first seconds. At that point, the WWE security staff had to evacuate an entire wing of the arena, that is, all that was below the billboard, with several fans running away in panic, to pause for the scenery to collapse completely.

Fortunately, no fans would have been hurt by it, although obviously, something didn't go as WWE expected, with such an inconvenience that it will now be put under the company's magnifying glass, to make sure a thing never happens again.

Raw preview, Jan. 31, 2022: Bobby Lashley to usher in All Mighty Era once again on Raw

In the wake of an earth-shattering Royal Rumble, WWE Champion Bobby Lashley reignites The All Might Era on Raw, Brock Lesnar is set to choose his WrestleMania opponent and Ronda Rousey makes her highly-anticipated return to the red brand. Don’t miss all the action of Monday Night Raw, tonight at 8/7 C on USA Network!

Bobby Lashley to usher in All Mighty Era once again on Raw

Bobby Lashley is once again WWE Champion, and that means The All Mighty Era is back on Raw. After getting an unexpected assist from Roman Reigns during his collision with Brock Lesnar at Royal Rumble, Lashley pinned The Beast to become WWE Champion for the second time. He and an elated MVP are now set to usher in their All Mighty Era on Raw once again just in time for The Road to WrestleMania to truly kick off.

Brock Lesnar to choose his WrestleMania opponent

Brock Lesnar had a rollercoaster of a Royal Rumble, losing his WWE Championship to Bobby Lashley in controversial fashion following an attack by Roman Reigns and a seeming betrayal from his advocate Paul Heyman before entering the Royal Rumble Match at No. 30 and running roughshod over the remaining Superstars to earn a World Championship opportunity at WrestleMania 38. After a wild turn of events, The Beast now has a decision to make on who he will challenge on The Grandest Stage of Them All. Will it be The All Mighty or The Head of the Table? The Superstar who took his WWE Title, or the man who handed it to him on a silver platter?

Ronda Rousey returns to Monday Night Raw!

For the first time in nearly three years, “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey returns to Monday Night Raw following her remarkable Royal Rumble victory. The Baddest Woman on the Planet made her return to WWE in epic fashion as the No. 28 entrant in the Royal Rumble Match, recording four eliminations, including SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair, to earn the milestone victory. What’s next for Rousey now that has returned to the squared circle, and who will she challenge at WrestleMania 38? Find out what she has to say on Monday Night Raw at 8/7 C on USA!

Raw preview, Dec. 20, 2021: The All Mighty is on a mission heading into WWE Title Match at WWE Day 1

Bobby Lashley and MVP are set to address The All Mighty's official involvement in the WWE Championship Fatal 4-Way Match at WWE Day 1. Plus, Edge welcomes Maryse to "The Cutting Edge," Bianca Belair and Doudrop settle their score and much more goes down tonight on Raw at 8/7 C on USA!

Bobby Lashley to speak about creating the Fatal 4-Way Match at WWE Day 1

Bobby Lashley ran the gauntlet, defeating Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins and WWE Champion Big E in three separate singles matches, to earn a spot in the WWE Championship Match at Day 1. The perceived disrespect at the exclusion of The All Mighty from the WWE Title hunt set off a chain of events that led to WWE Officials Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville giving Lashley the unique opportunity. After taking advantage of KO and Rollins’ attempted schemes, Lashley was able to turn Day 1’s Triple Threat Match into a Fatal 4-Way by defeating Big E (thanks to an assist from MVP) in The All Mighty’s third match of the night. With the WWE Championship now in his sights at Day 1, what does Lashley have to say to his future opponents?

Edge welcomes special guest Maryse to “The Cutting Edge”

The Miz is not the only one with the “most must-see talk show in WWE” as Edge returns to host “The Cutting Edge” with special guest Maryse! The Rated-R Superstar will hear from Maryse just weeks before squaring off with her husband, The Miz, at Day 1. Edge will look to find out what is going on between Maryse and The Miz after she slapped The A-Lister for using her as a shield to hide from Edge’s attack last week.

Bianca Belair and Doudrop square off for another powerhouse showdown

After a grueling and hard-earned victory last week, Bianca Belair thought she had finally put her issues with Doudrop to rest, but she was far from done with The EST of WWE. While Belair celebrated her win, Doudrop came barreling out from backstage to squash her, standing tall over a fallen Belair and mocking her with her own move. What began as a feeling of disrespect from WWE Officials to Doudrop has grown into sheer animosity and resentment aimed directly at the former SmackDown Women’s Champion. Will Belair be able to survive another encounter with an enraged Doudrop?

Austin Theory will put his training to use in match against Finn Bálor

Clearly Finn Bálor has not been studying under Mr. McMahon like Austin Theory has. Theory has been a plague to Bálor as of late, unleashing surprise attacks and selfies, one of which cost Bálor and Damian Priest their tag team match against The Dirty Dawgs. Each time, Theory has captured The Prince’s pain and frustration with a celebratory selfie to add to his growing collection. Can Theory use Mr. McMahon’s tutelage to defeat Bálor when the two meet face-to-face, or will The Prince be the one taking a selfie at the end of the night?

Damian Priest takes on Dolph Ziggler in Championship Contender’s Match

Damian Priest is a fighting champion, but this time he’s looking for a good ole fashioned beatdown as he takes on Dolph Ziggler in a United States Championship Contender’s Match. Priest already took care of one half of The Dirty Dawgs when Robert Roode answered his open challenge two weeks ago, but after disposing of “Big Bob,” Ziggler snuck into the ring to deliver a surprise superkick to the Champion. The Archer of Infamy failed to get his retribution the next week as The Dirty Dawgs pulled off a quick one to upset the surprising alliance of Priest and Finn Bálor. Tune in to Monday Night Raw to see if Priest can finally punish Ziggler for his cheap shot or if The Dirty Dawgs will find some way to steal a win at 8/7 C on USA.

WWE SmackDown preview, Dec. 17, 2021: Universal Champion Roman Reigns returns to SmackDown this Friday

After Brock Lesnar wreaked more havoc on the blue brand, Universal Champion Roman Reigns returns to SmackDown. Plus, Ridge Holland will put Sheamus’ lessons to use in rematch with Cesaro. Don't miss all the action of SmackDown, tonight at 8/7 C on FOX!

Universal Champion Roman Reigns returns to SmackDown this Friday

The Samoan sabbatical is over this Friday. After taking a week away on a night that saw Brock Lesnar wreak more havoc on the blue brand by attacking Sami Zayn yet again and hunting down WWE Official Adam Pearce to tell him a rather threatening story, Universal Champion Roman Reigns is set to return to Friday Night SmackDown. What will The Head of the Table have in store? How will he respond to The Beast's latest actions on the road to their championship showdown at WWE Day 1?

Ridge Holland will put Sheamus’ lessons to use in rematch with Cesaro

Ridge Holland will get another chance to prove he’s the superior partner when he once again locks horns with Cesaro. The Swiss Cyborg spoiled the newcomer’s debut with a quick rollup to shock not only Holland but his new mentor Sheamus. So, The Celtic Warrior stepped in to show Holland how it’s done, beating down his former tag team partner as Holland studied from backstage. Did Holland learn enough from Sheamus’ victory to defeat Cesaro and prove that he is the better tag team partner?

What will happen after Brock Lesnar disrupted The Bloodline?

The Universal Title picture wasn’t the only thing that Brock Lesnar affected last week in the absence of Roman Reigns. The Bloodline was also noticeably disrupted. For a moment, it seemed as if Special Council Paul Heyman actually began advocating for his one-time client Lesnar, even going so far as to say that The Conqueror may be the “future” Universal Champion. The unsettling presence of The Beast also played a part in SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos coming up short in the Triple Threat Match against The New Day and Raw Tag Team Champions RK-Bro to determine the best tandem in WWE. What will happen after The Bloodline was left in upheaval? Find out tonight at 8/7 C on FOX.

WWE Raw Preview, Dec. 6, 2021: Becky Lynch defends the Raw Women’s Championship against Liv Morgan

Kevin Owen battles Big E inside a steel cage, Becky Lynch defends the Raw Women’s Title against Liv Morgan and Miz TV returns to Raw with special guest WWE Hall of Famer Edge. Don't miss Monday Night Raw, tonight at 8/7 C on USA!

Becky Lynch defends the Raw Women’s Championship against Liv Morgan

The time has finally come for Liv Morgan. Can she “Liv” in the big time? After leading a team of five women to victory over a squad captained by Becky Lynch last week, Morgan looks to ride that momentum all the way to capturing the Raw Women’s Title this Monday night on Raw. Big-Time Becks has already proclaimed to have a “death grip” on her championship, so what will happen when these two finally go toe-to-toe?

There’s no escape for Kevin Owens as he squares off with Big E inside a steel cage

WWE Champion Big E has been aching to put a hurt on the illusive Kevin Owens and last week he finally got the chance to get his hands on KO but was unable to get retribution thanks to Seth Rollins’ interference. Owens went out of his way to attack Rollins at the announce table leading to a furious assault on both competitors by The Visionary as KO slithered up the ramp. Well, now there is no chance of escape or interference for Owens as he will be locked inside a steel cage with The Powerhouse of Positivity this Monday. With no way to elude his grasp, what will the WWE Champion have in store for the devious Owens and will it have any repercussions for their upcoming Triple Threat Championship Match at WWE Day 1?

Miz TV returns to Raw with special guest Edge

Two of the most must-see stars of WWE made their return to Raw last week: The Miz and Maryse. Of course, they didn’t get the same red carpet treatment as WWE Hall of Famer Edge who made his first appearance on the red brand since his brutal Hell in a Cell Match at WWE Crown Jewel. An insulted Miz interrupted the Rated-R Superstar while he speculated on all the new opportunities his homecoming on Raw brought, excluding The Miz from his list of Superstars. The A-Lister will get to the bottom of this snub as Edge is The Miz’s latest guest on MizTV. Tune in for the most must-see talk show in WWE history tonight on Raw at 8/7 C on USA!
