Everyone - Rain possibilities looking pretty high as late as seven or 730. Here's the plan: assume that we may start at seven, but be prepared to delay the start an hour. So DaVinci Jazz Experiment could end up playing 8 to 10.

Recently put together a group to play some trad jazz styles. Could feature such a group at Jazz on the Alley. Who knows?

This is a memory from six years ago this week. It’s DaVinci Jazz Experiment (DJE) band leader Russ White playing his trombone as part of a show at Cafe DaVinci. Come make some memories with your friends when DJE returns to the very same stage, this Sunday, Aug. 13, 7- 9 pm!

The Alley Cats played at John Knox Village tonight.

The Alley Cats played last night as part of the Jazz on the Alley series. And what a fine time it was, because we had Thom Chambers standing in on soprano sax. His sound is always spot on!

We are so fortunate to have Alaia Luna Music entertain for us at the Artisan Alley farmers market. She has such a beautiful voice. Alaia also recently started teaching music (voice, piano, ukulele etc) in a space on Artisan Alley; she calls it Songbird Studio.

Alaia and the students of Songbird Studio performed in a recital this evening. They were all fantastic! These young music students exhibited a lot of courage (for most it was their first public performance) and talent!

The Marshalls, Eddie on sax, and Aquila on the trumpet. It was such a pleasure to have them join the DaVinci Jazz Experiment this afternoon. thanks to all who attended. And for those who didn’t, here’s a sample of what you missed.
