The speech I give to the wedding party after I’ve just defended them when someone said they don’t know how to act on a wedding day 🤦🏼‍♀️ I’ll have your back wedding party, just please don’t let me down🤣

✨FIVE MONTHS ✨ I was reflecting today on when I was still working and doing picnics on the side and I asked a friend if she needed a coordinator for her wedding day. I had assisted weddings before but was dreaming up what it would look like to add it as a service to Honeybee at the time. Her response was “its funny because we talked about how great you would be at this!” @macyscarboro_ I am forever grateful for you taking that chance on me. One friend extending an opportunity is what gave me the courage to full send into this dream and work with now 20 amazing brides through Honeybee. I share this short little tid-bit to remind whoever reads this that dreaming is a true gift and not to be tossed out as just another thought. I’m celebrating every small milestone because to be honest I’m just happy to be here LOL God is so kind and I walk daily in gratitude for how faithful he has been every step of the way. It’s hard to be discouraged for long on the tough days (that I definitely have sometimes) when I look and see His goodness around me. Happy five months Honeybee, here’s to the next five YEARS 🥹

Wedding Tip Wednesday and we’re getting real honest!!!🤣 BRIDES if you are having an outside wedding in the summer we want you to be prepared! Summer time in the south does NOTTT come to play, so here are a few tips to make sure you beat the heat! ☀️ - HYDRATE! We definitely understand the wedding morning coffee, but besides that, please be sure to drink LOTS of water! We don’t want you passing out at the altar ya feel? - Get you a battery operated fan for photos! We want you to make sure that you’re staying cool and not getting to sweaty right after hair and makeup. - Have a hydration station set up outside of your ceremony area for guest to grab water. Guest can be sitting in the sun for an hour plus, so we want to make sure they are staying cool as well! We want everyone fueled for the party! 🎉 - Try wearing cooling shorts under your dress as shape wear! They make so many different types that are smoothing without sucking you in so tight that you can’t breathe because that would nottt be very comfortable in the heat!🤣 - If you plan on having alcohol at your wedding, we ALWAYS recommend being smart and limiting it for you AND your guest for safety reasons. However, especially in the summer alcohol and sun do nottt always mix well! We suggest limiting it as well as hydrating to the MAX so you don’t get dehydrated! - Wear the deodorant and PLEASEEE don’t try to cover up with perfume or cologne…I think that’s all we gotta say about that 🤣

I’m still swooning over this cake from @floraveganbakes ✨ Macy and Levi had a beautiful cake for the two of them and then cupcakes from @the.village.bakery for guest to enjoy and they were a HIT let me tell you! I love when couples choose to go a different route for dessert because it’s always fun to see what they choose what they feel fits their vision the best! 🧡

Wedding Tip Wednesday, but it’s not for the bride today! That’s right wedding guest, we’re looking at you! 🤣 This is your reminder to take a few moments out of your day to RSVP for that wedding you got invited to! Whether you can make it or not, please RSVP so that the bride and planner can plan accordingly. With that, if you RSVP yes then please show up! We understand that things happen and sometimes you’re unable to make it, however, if you wake up and decide you don’t want to go…come anyways please🤣 When you say that you are coming, the bride and groom are accounting for your full meal, table setting and more. So when you don’t show up, that is money out of their wedding budget that they could have used in another area. So basically you = dollar signs when it comes to the wedding! To sum it all up, please be extra considerate as if it were your own wedding because one day it will be and you will understand 🤪

Always the one who makes me want to be the best I can be 🤍 I don’t mention enough just how influential my husband is with Honeybee. When deciding to go full time, he gave me the kick I needed to go after it. He has been my advice giver, the one I go to for ideas when I’m stuck, helper with all things business organization, the behind the scenes worker and the voice cheering me on every step of the way. Not enough credit gets given to those behind the scenes supporters who are with you day in and day out. Honeybee is stronger because I have him as my partner! That’s right, tables 💃🏼 We are now offering tables with chairs as a substitute for our picnic tables. Now the classic picnic table is obviously who we are how all of our picnics come, however, if you prefer chairs then PLEASE ask for our regular tables with chairs! We will be more than happy to set it up for you indoors or outdoors! 🤍🍯🐝
