For those that have asked what’s being used to tech 13.5 motors for the CROWN JEWELL.
C&M motorsports has a motolyser and Fantom Racing has donated a brand new stator resistance machine to check resistance.
Testing the esc output could also be a tech item.

CROWN JEWELL 13.5 JUSTOCK TECH WILL BE FRIDAY, SATURDAY AND SUNDAY AM. If you are here Friday or Saturday I would get your motor teched then to not have to wait in line Sunday am. All motors will be marked and impounded once teched.
owners will receive them back early Sunday.
There is no 13.5 practice Friday or Saturday. Your practice will start Sunday morning.

(Updated) after talking to hobbywing engineer. IMPORTANT TECH INFO for JUSTOCK 13.5 classes:

Stock 14 gauge size wires on esc ONLY!
No extra capacitors
2s 8.44 volt max can not be hooked to esc when checked. (No burn off)
45-47 degree max motor timing
Motor has to pass resistance check and correct rotor check
Motor is sealed
Only 2 motors thru tech per car if both fail tech you don’t race.
Battery must be no more then 5 degrees above ambient temp.

REGISTRATION IS STILL OPEN FOR THE CROWN JEWELL. IT WILL BE OPEN UNTIL AUGUST 10th. After Aug. 10th you will NOT be able to register for this race. LOTS OF GOOD GIVEAWAYS. If you are entered in these races you are automatically entered into the giveaway drawings. We will pay back 1/4 of the entries in each class. For example: if your class has 40 entries we will pay the top 10. Payout for each class will be listed the week of Aug. 10th. Current entry list is pinned to the top of the Elite Dirt Oval Series and Promotions page.

ALL ELITE JUSTOCK CLASSES HAVE A MOTOR CLAIM RULE. IF SOMEONE HAS A NEW, SEALED IN PACKAGE MOTOR, THEY CAN CLAIM ANYONES MOTOR AT ANY POINT DURING A RACE. Failure to give up claimed motor = DQ for the day.

Also for the roar classes: YOUR ESC MUST BLINK IN BLINKY (zero timing) MODE, with the radio on, or you will be a DQ. NO QUESTIONS ASKED. IF IT DONT BLINK YOU WILL BE DEAMED ILLEGAL.

As we’ve said before, we strive to have some of the best awards in all of Rc Dirt Oval racing. These awards are amazing. 1st place awards are 18” tall x 16” wide. WOW, we knew it was going to rain on Friday and be a nice day on Saturday. But we didn’t know it was going to rain 2+ inches Friday evening/night!! Even with that much rain, the track turned out to be PHENOMENAL!!!. We Can’t thank Dan and all that helped get the track ready enough. Thanks to all that came out and made it a great Race day. Hopefully everyone enjoyed the day and had fun. Hope to see you all July 13th at The Krater.
