Recently a state tuition waver for the children of disabled veterans (90% or higher), gold star families, and the dependents of police, fire, and emts injured or killed in the line of duty was gutted. Tomorrow morning there is meant to be a vote to restore the waiver. But the Senator for District 18 has stated her intentions to block the vote from proceeding. Please join us in reaching out to the senate to demand this earned benefit be restored to these families. It is important for everyone but most especially if you live in Senate district 18 please sign and share this with your neighbors. This has been a unified bipartisan attempt that passed unanimously in the house.
