Last Friday afternoon Hal-Con Sci-Fi Fantasy Association Jonathan Cross made history when he became the first ever DIY Champion!

He wrestled 3 matches defeating Maurice Power, Dawson James and in the finals, Justin Newhook!

We are very proud to have Jonathan Cross represent our company and Maritime wrestling!

The championship was presented by our friends and sponsors at East Coast Toys and Games

FIRST EVER DIY CHAMPION: JONATHAN CROSS

Congratulations to Jonathan Cross on becoming the first ever DIY Champion. It was a hard earned win against the incredible Justin Newhook

Thanks to HalCon for hosting such an incredible tournament, and thanks to everyone who came out to watch!

Due to personal commitments outside of wrestling, the operation of DIY Wrestling will be handled by New Scott going forward.

I know he’ll put on fantastic match cards in my absence, and we’ll look forward to seeing you at the next event!

DIY WRESTLING IS COMING TO HAL-CON!

We’re back with our next show and it’s going to be BIG!

Hal-Con will host the DIY Gold Rush Tournament, with the winner being crowned the inaugural DIY Wrestling Champion!

Come cheer your favourites, jeer your least favourites, and have a great time at Eastern Canada’s largest sci-fi convention!

Admission is included with the purchase of a Friday pass!

The bell will ring to start the tournament at 1:00pm!
