Terminal & Different Intel presents: Rinse FM 30 Years with IZCO, Capo Lee & Freshta.
To celebrate Rinse FM’s 30th anniversary, Terminal and Different Intel are teaming up to present IZCO, Capo Lee, and Freshta.
Founded in 1994 by Geeneus and Slimzee in East London, Rinse FM began as a pirate radio station, playing a crucial role in shaping UK underground music. The station helped popularize genres like grime, dubstep, and UK garage, giving early exposure to artists such as Wiley and Skream. After years of illegal broadcasting, it gained a legal FM license in 2010 and continued to influence UK music culture through radio, club events, and its record label, Rinse Recordings. Today, Rinse FM remains a driving force in the UK music scene, maintaining its roots in underground culture while embracing the evolving sounds of electronic music.
To commemorate 30 years of the vision, three of Rinse FM’s finest are making their Australian debuts as part of a global rollout. IZCO, Capo Lee, and Freshta are dynamic London-based artists shaping the UK’s underground music scene. IZCO is a DJ, producer, and multi-instrumentalist known for blending garage, grime, jungle and reggae to create a distinctive sound. Capo Lee, a grime MC, is celebrated for his smooth, versatile flow and collaborations with key grime figures, merging classic and contemporary influences. Freshta, delivers fresh and versatile DJ sets, combining electronic, R&B, and pop elements. Together, they represent the sound of London’s music culture.
Terminal’s Burna and Hally, along with Different Intel’s Kodachi, will be joining the lineup to represent our local underground talent. Expect a range of forward-thinking sound throughout.
