Sometimes the best part of being a celebrant is getting to conduct ceremonies in the most stunning of locations (like this one recently in Bollier with Stephanie McMahon and Lachy McMahon). A beautiful spot and a fantastic couple, as a celebrant you couldn't ask for more! 🥰

(FYI, I always make sure to walk out of shot for the last bit of the ceremony.......you don't want me in all your photos, especially with that view!)

I usually like to keep away from the camera at the weddings I do, after all, the day isn't about me, I'm merely fulfilling a purpose. However occasionally a fab photographer will catch me off guard.

If you were visiting my page for the first time you'd be forgiven for wondering whether I was still an active celebrant......due to the lack of regular posts.

While there are celebrants that are true 'showmen and showomen', that is just not me.

I believe that it is the celebrants role to draw the focus to the couple, playing second fiddle to them on their special day.

WEDDINGS: Lockdown lifted but some restrictions remain 💒

Until 12 noon Thursday April 15, additional measures are in place to ensure these special events are celebrated safely.

You can have the usual number of guests: one person per 2m², or 200 people - whichever is greater.

While the bridal party doesn’t need to wear masks, guests do - although they can be taken off for photos 📸

Dancing is allowed at weddings for all guests.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work together to stay safe.

Good news for all those that postponed in order to have all of their loved ones at the ceremony. Time to get the wedding planner back out 😊

Coronavirus restrictions and snap lockdowns have wreaked havoc on weddings and funerals, with many planned events cancelled at the last minute, but the rules are easing from today.
