Denver Drone Co. is happy to announce that there will be a 2020 Colorado Wildfire Awareness Drive and Fund-Racer taking place via Twitch and YouTube live stream on Saturday December 12th! You are invited to join us by submitting a bracket with the pilots you think will win and watch the race live stream from 12:30pm-3pm MST! Throughout the stream we will be highlighting some of the organizations, efforts and assistance programs helping Colorado and it's residents to recover from this historic fire season. Please share your story with us in live chat, on the day of the race, with others affected by these fires. We look forward to racing with you and making this a successful opportunity to bring awareness to some great organizations.

I failed to mention an honorary winner in the last post about the Indoor Indoor Series! My apologies to CrashFPV (TrashCrash on multigp just to clarify which CrashFPV I'm talking about) who successfully bumped up from enthusiast to the advanced class at the midway point of the series when we performed a requalification. This was due to a rapid increase in skill. Crash was involved with motocross before getting into drone racing and so once he got used to the simulator and the stick control, the racing side of it came very quickly. Congratulations Crash! That was incredible to watch!

Congratulations to our podium finishers from both classes and a huge thank you to all the pilots, viewers and sponsors that made this series a genuine blast to be a part of! In third place in the enthusiast class was Brian "SourPower" Saurmann. Even though he missed the last two races worth double points, he had a large enough lead that he kept the third place spot! In second place was Dave "Slippy" Gibson, who showed an awesome amount of technical flying skill throughout the series! First place goes to Adam "Okuru" Nowak, one of the few pilots who flew in acro mode for a majority of the races, and showed us the advantage of being able to really open up the throttle in the straightaways! In third place for the advanced class was Jay "PeepFPV" Pro, a very generous pilot who designed one of the tracks for the series and donated matching props to distribute as prizes for the podiums of each class! Second place goes to Cameron "CameronFPV" Denesha, a young pilot who raced very consistently to earn his spot on the podium! And the overall winner of the first Indoor Indoor Simulator Series sponsored by The Other Guys - Colorado Drone Racing, CBD Jane's and Remote Control Hobbies Smoky Hill is Max "MPMiller" Miller, an even younger pilot who's piloting skills could be likened to that of a robot's ability and is truly, truly an impressive sight to watch! Thank you again to everybody who participated! We'll see you again next time!

Tune in to our live stream at 7 P.M. standard time to find out whole will take the podium spots in each of the classes, for a chance to win the following prizes! In the enthusiast class, third place will receive a MenaceRC Invader Patch Antenna! Second place will receive a TBS Unify Race VTX! And first place will receive a T-Motor Flight Controller as well as $50! In the advanced class, third place will take home a Hobbywing Flight Controller! Second place will walk away with a Betaflight F7 flight controller! And the winner of the advanced class will go home with bragging rights, a FlightClub Proton Frame, and $100! In addition, all of the winning pilots will receive a Denver Drone Company hat and t-shirt, as well as a set of propellers (donated by PeepFPV!) These parts were provided by Denver Drone Company, and the prize money was sponsored by The Other Guys - Colorado Drone Racing! Good luck to all of the pilots!
