For sale now listed on ebay, http://www.ebay.com/itm/404894694146 Ladies waistcoat 100% pure silk outer (the camera has made this red look brighter than it is in reality). Could do with a press or steam of course 😊 Project needs finishing.
Suitable for approx size UK 12-14 I would say. Shown here on a dummy measuring approx 38" bust 31" waist. But as you can see on the back image the adjuster is pretty much right out, it's not fitting tightly at this size, and that adjuster can be pulled in a pretty long way, so could do a fair bit smaller than this also.
Needs buttons stitching on, 4 at the front, and it had 2 more, 1 on each pocket flap. The button holes are there already down the centre front.
It has had pretty much all of the back lining cut out, (just the back nothing else. This is an easy fix, as can be seen from the photos, this doesn't notice at all when it's being worn, so I would be inclined to just neaten off what's there and tack it in place. Otherwise it wouldn't take much at all to just stitch in new back lining. Again as with all these recent pieces I've listed, I simply won't get round to this, so it needs to be out there being enjoyed by somebody.
It could have quite a few applications, I feel it could be used as part of a victorian, or even Georgian outfit or just as a day to day waistcoat.
Anyway any further questions please ask.
As usual can be posted anywhere, and will just be charged at cost.

SOLD! £75 Georgian man's waistcoat, approx 40-42 inch chest. Entirely hand finished.
As you can see this is an unfinished piece, (one which I had started for myself 😊) but I'm just not getting around to it, so let's get it out there, and enjoyed by someone else.
Of course this is brand new and never worn, but I made it from an antique fabric, as I wanted it to have that kind of look, both outer and lining were made from antique fabrics.
All it needs to be finished are the adding of buttons and button holes, and that's it. (A tape could be added to the back to make it more adjustable if wanted of course as well) so only small jobs left now.
Anyway can be posted anywhere you like, I'll just charge post on top of course.
Any further questions please ask.

Men's Regency waistcoat SOLD! £15.
Ex hire stock but only worn twice. As you can see needs buttons stitching on. Also I underestimated shrinkage on the outer fabric, (didnt expect this fabric to shrink at all really in fact, but there we go 😊) I made it quickly for a lage group hire, so in the rush didn't do any pre shrinking really, 😊. Anyway 3rd photo shows what this means, it just means it turns out a bit, at the lower edges for instance. It's now been washed and steam pressed and everything, so it's now shrunk as much as it's going to. To be honest it could totally be worn as it is (once some buttons have been put on of course) it's not that bad, it's just I cant really use it, and I'll not be putting the time in to correct it at the mo, so.may as well go off to someone else to get use from.
Anyway thanks for looking, can post anywhere, will just be subject to postal charges on top of price. Please like and share with anyone you think may be interested.

For sale: £30 Men's knee breeches. Measure approx 45inches, when waistband is pulled to its largest. Not made by me, they've just come into stock with some items I've bought back. These are just a simplified, pair of breeches, costume, fancy dress really, that said, the fabric is quite nice, it's a decent weight cotton sort of fabric, with a slight sort of brush to the surface, and it has a fake sort of fall front flap as can be seen from photos. This just velcro up and ends with hidden poppers, the knee bands fasten with velcro, and have some false buttons above this. And the are outside buttons for braces on the waistband, which means they'll be good for lots of sizes. And are elasticated at the back of the waistband, again making them adaptable and comfortable.
They arenwhat they are, good for stage, or dressing up, or as a stop gap, until you get some repro ones made up, in honesty, they wouldn't look to bad on, alot of the cheats on these will be covered by coat etc.
Used but in VCG.
Will post anywhere at cost. Any further questions please ask.
Thanks.

For sale £25 Men's double breasted waistcoat Large maybe Xl as standard size. Not made by me, just came in stock with some stuff I bought back, used but in VGC has 8 functioning naval buttons, non functioning strap at back, but it does have the buckle, so could easily be made to function, or of course can just easily be taken in on the strap to adjust fit, it's show here on a dummy with the dummy set up to approx 45inch chest, and 42 inch waist, and that's probs the biggest it could go upto without alteration.
Made from a nice heavy cotton type fabric, a bit canvas like but not course or stiff. Lined with satin lining fabric. And has a functioning top pocket with flap on the left hand side.
Can post anywhere at cost. Any questions please ask.
Thanks.

NOW SOLD! £15, used Regency/georgian/Period style Mans shirt, and black satin stock/cravatte/tie. Size M/L.
Has come back into stock with some items I bought back, white cotton shirt, in good overall condition, the collar is a little dirty, I believe its all been cleaned, but collar could do with a scrub, or relining or something, it's not that bad, just being honest, but being cotton, I genuinely think it'll scrib up just fine, the fabrics not worn or thread bare in any way.
Mother of pearl type buttons at cuff, it was made with tie fastening at the neck, but a popper has been added, this could easily be removed of course.
Can post anywhere at cost of postage, just contact me for further info.
Any questions please ask.

Now Sold! £350 Princess Elizabeth overdress, Tudor gown. Ex hire stock, hardly worn, like new condition. Size approx small, UK 6-8. Made from beautiful English silk.
This sale is just for the overdress, so would require underskirt and relevant underwear to go with it. There are 100's of £'s worth of materials in this garment, even before the hours of work are taken into account. The dress itself is made from very rare and expensive English silk. The neckline is heavily decorated with reproduction "ouches", pearls, and a reproduction brooch, all gold plated etc.
It is based on the well known portrait of Princess Elizabeth. As stated it is ex hire stock, it is in as new perfect condition, apart from what I'll refer to as a snag on 1 of the back corners of the neck line as shown in pictures. I think it must've been snipped/clipped a bit to close at Time of construction and has since frayed away. But this could easily be neatened up of course.
Any further questions please ask.
Thanks.

Now SOLD: £100 Regency Mans coat approx 46"chest and extra long. I know this looks exactly the same as the last sale item I posted, and it basically is, except this is an extra long one 😊.
Ex hire stock, but only worn once or twice so is as new condition. It's actually a bit more Blue in colour than it looks on the photo.
It's made to be worn open, so would actually work well for approx 44-48 chest really, so is quite versatile. This coat is part lined, the body and tails are lined, and the sleeves are unlined, but all seams are neatened and protected with overlocking.
As stated it's an extra long cut, so great for someone probably 6'2" or more would be really good for someone around 6'4" or ther abouts even, it's longer in the body and the tails, as mentioned on the previous coats though, these are cut high waisted anyway, so even on someone a bit shorter, this will probs just end up somewhere around a modern waistline anyway to be honest. So won't look silly, and of course could be altered. The sleeve is very simple to take up on this coat as well.
It has a lovely set of real metal Gaunt of London buttons on it. And is made from a sort of brush cotton fabric, the brush is quite long but it's not quite a velvet if that makes sense?
Anyway any further questions please ask. This is just part of the little January clearout, keep an eye out for other stuff.
Can post anywhere at cost of postage.
Cheers.

As stated it's a long cut, so great for someone around 6'2" ish. That said, I'm 5'11" and if I took the sleeves up it wouldn't look daft on me, the tails still finish somewhere around the back of the knee, and the waistline ends up somewhere around a modern waistline, of course it should be higher for this era, but as I say it doesn't look silly, a lot of costume coats are cut to long in the waist anyway for this era, so it'll just look like one of those 😊. The sleeve is very simple to take up on this coat.
