So grateful and honoured to be a part of ‘The Home Stream’, playing alongside all these incredible individuals, masters of their craft! Whatever you need, this stream has got you covered.

I rarely speak on this as I feel like I was one of the fortunate ones, but it has been a struggle for me too. I lost two jobs when s**t hit the fan. My day job and DJing, both I loved and enjoyed tremendously. The affect it had on my mental health wasn’t great but lucky for me I had the most incredible support from my partner and friends, and eventually found myself a job that could keep me afloat.

I found it really difficult to be creative, to play/mix during lockdown as it only brought me sadness and sorrow and yearning for a time long gone. But with the encouragement from my amazing friends, I started my own livestream every Friday night up till when restrictions were lifted, just so that I don’t lose my mind.

With every new announcement of the easing of restrictions, I’d hope and pray that they will mention ANYTHING, honestly anything, about the live entertainment industry but sadly we have been chucked aside, completely forgotten.

THANK YOU for amplifying the need for music, being the champion for us all. Thank you for the continuous effort to try and rebuild what was once before. You can find the links to the streams in my bio!

Some of you may be isolated &, with all of our events postponed until May, we wanted to re-connect you with your fellow House Heads in a different way. So after bringing you live streams from Defected Croatia, We Are FSTVL and Defected London FSTVL, we are now producing our first ever Defected Virtual Festival... No barriers, no prejudice, no VIP… everyone together on a virtual dance floor. Celebrating unity & solidarity.

This Friday, from 12pm - 12am, we will be programming 12 hours of house music on Facebook Live and YouTube. The 12 hours will consist of classic sets, never-before-heard exclusives and brand new mixes from all of your Defected favourites. 🙏

On this day last year, someone took chance on this inexperienced DJ. Boy was I nervous for my first public gig. Mary Cherry pulled me aside and told me what I needed to hear. So thankful for all you have done for me.
