President: Keith Landecker - Operations Manager WJTT Power 94 - Chattanooga, Tennessee

Thirty plus years in radio, Keith has worked in markets such as Cincinnati, Louisville, Indiana, and Chattanooga. Keith has been at WJTT Chattanooga, Tennessee for over thirty years racking up national and local awards and accolades, one of which was being inducted to the Tennesee Radio Hall of Fame in 2016.

Keith’s traits of winning radio are:
Great music, teamwork, simplicity, personality, excitement, localism, perparation, consistency, and passion.

Keith, also represented the city of Chattanooga in Washington, D.C. as the Jefferson Award Winner. The Jefferson Award is referred to as the Nobel Peace Prize for community service. Keith was selected for his commitment to youth athletics and education.

Keith is married Cathy and they have three children, Cori, Kayla, and Chae, who are all educators. This family truly believes that education is the key to success.

Keith is honored to be a part of the National Black Radio Hall of Fame representing the state of Tennessee.

Board Member: Melvin Jones - Gospel Radio Consultant for WLOK Memphis, TN

Pastor Melvin Jones is the Senior Pastor of Victory in Christ Christian Church, an innovative and progressive church located in Memphis, TN. Pastor Jones and his wife, Evangelist Linda Jones, have served as senior pastor and co-pastor since founding the ministry in 2003. The mission of this spirit filled nondenominational church is to empower people to live victorious lives through Jesus Christ.
Pastor Melvin Jones is a former radio and record executive who was instrumental in the lives of many of today’s top radio and entertainment personalities. He attended Tennessee State University and has earned degrees from the Career Academy School of Broadcasting and Jacksonville Theological Seminary. He began his broadcast career as an intern at KXLW in St. Louis, MO. He went to become an award-winning afternoon radio personality recognized by the prestigious Billboard Magazine as the best black DJ in America in 1973 and 1977 while programming WLOK in Memphis, TN. He also won a Stellar Award for the best gospel announcer in America in 1997. His broadcast career extends from Memphis to Milwaukee, WI, Jacksonville, FL, Atlanta, GA, Norfolk, VA, Little Rock, AR, Chattanooga, TN, and Flint, MI. He was also honored by Black Radio Exclusive Magazine, the Young Black Programmers Association, Jack the Rapper, and Radio and Records Magazine.
Pastor Melvin worked as Special Marketing Director with Capitol Records in Los Angeles and Teddy Riley’s New Jack Swing Record Company out of Virginia Beach, VA. He was instrumental in breaking artists such as MC Hammer, Tracy Spencer, Freddy Jackson, Be Be and CeCe Winans and many others.
In addition to pastoring, Melvin Jones is still actively engaged in radio. He is currently a gospel radio consultant for WLOK in Memphis. In addition, he and his wife, Linda, host a syndicated gospel radio show that airs in 15 markets including WRBO 103.5 FM in Memphis.
Pastor Melvin Jones’ primary gift is that of encourager; in business, in ministry and in life.
His foundational scripture is 1 Corinthians 15:57:” But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Kenny Smoov is an On-Air/Programming radio veteran with stints in Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, South Carolina, and North Carolina. Industry Awards to his credit are Billboard Radio Personality of the Year (Small Market), Highest Rated Urban Station in America (KBCE, Alexandria), NAACP Image Award (South Carolina).

He is a Desert Storm Veteran with 6 years of military service to his credit with tours of duty in, South Korea, Ft. Hood, TX, and a host of other assignments. Decorations include Army Commendation Medal 2 Clusters, Army Achievement Medal 2 Clusters, and others.
