We are babies here!!!

11 years ago, I said yes to spending the rest of my life with my best friend. In that time, we have laughed, cried, argued, and reconciled. We have created 2 humans and poured our love into them. She supports me in my business better than I support myself sometimes! I couldn't imagine life without her. She means everything to me!

11 years is only the beginning. Here is to 40 more! Then I'm gonna die first. That's the deal!

I wanted to take a moment to recognize my awesome assistant, Tabatha! She has been the glue to my business for the past several months, and I know that if I need anything, I can count on her.

She does about a billion things, including running her own DJ/karaoke business, teaching, and being a BA mama. I honestly am in awe of her flexibility! If you ever see her at a wedding, make sure to say hi because she is a great friend to have!

Friendor Fridays! Say hi to

Megan is an AMAZING photographer and an even better human being. She has an interesting story full of music and love. She is a finalist for 2024 Arizona Bride and she absolutely earned her spot there.

About Megan:
My passion turned into a career when I joined the marketing team at Fender Musical Instruments and Specialty Brands; EVH Gear, Jackson, Charvel, and Gretsch. I had the pleasure of photographing and filming artists such as The BlackKeys, Carly Rae Jepsen, Joe Nichols, Cheap Trick, Orville Peck, Spotify’s metal featured artist, Gus G, Megadeth, and more amazing talent. My photos have been featured at NAMM conventions, in catalogs and magazines including Rolling Stone and Billboard. Videos of mine can be found on the Fender, EVH, Jackson, Charvel, and Gretsch websites, YouTube channels, and social media accounts.

In 2017 I worked at the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville, Tennessee. Most of my time was with the Public Programs department, helping with Singer-Songwriter Sessions, working alongside country artists, and expanding my knowledge of the music industry. This led to an opportunity with Big Machine Label Group, who reached out on behalf of country artist, Alex Williams.

While I adored my time in Nashville (and still visit for shoots!), Scottsdale beckoned me home. Desert scenery and golden sunsets make for beautiful portraits and photos that are cherished for a lifetime. My goal is to always deliver beautiful, professional, and quality work that brings joy to my clients.

I met this pair while working a wedding in the middle of the desert! Isaiah and Carolina are a dynamic videography duo. They got the rizz (I just learned this slang this week - I'm old). I absolutely love working with them!!!

They are high school sweethearts and have been together 12 years. Isaiah is Guamanian 🇬🇺 and Carolina's parents are from Mexico 🇲🇽 (she is 1st generation American). They started videography via travel vlogs. Their favorite spot is Maui! When they got married, their wedding was featured on TV - this started their interest and love in the wedding space.

I'm so lucky to meet wonderful people like this!

Friendor Friday! Meet Mari from

I'm gonna start by talking about the company at large. I owe a ton of gratitude to Kenna for helping get MC Duke off the ground. My first major venue connection was in big part thanks to her. She cares deeply about her couples and wants nothing more than the best day for you and your partner. She provides tons of helpful tips on her Instagram that you can follow.

Now onto Mari! I've worked with her for my last few McKenna Katherine Weddings and she is on top of it!!! She is there when you need her and trusts you to take care of business when you don't need her.

Mari was born in California and raised in the beautiful evergreen state of Washington. After years of traveling the world as an international flight attendant, she gained a reputation for planning unforgettable outings and events for colleagues across the globe. She moved to sunny Arizona 4 years ago to explore new opportunities.

Mari is extremely passionate about, the little things and is a hopeless romantic. No matter how many weddings she’s coordinated she will always get teary eyed when you are walking down the asile.

Her dedication to make your day perfect and willingness to help where ever she can will help you feel at ease. She firmly believes in making every second count on your day becase it does go by fast. We have a twofer for Friendor Fridays this week!

Meet and

I initially met Riki and Candace at a wedding up in Heber a few weeks back. We had instant connection, and I could see they were both wonderful, happy people. Riki was also kind enough to film some of the party and send me a sample that I could use. I can't say enough good things about these two people.

Candace has been doing photography for 18 years.She is a mom of two adult children. She loves wine and traveling. She breaks out in a dance often in the privacy of my home. Her favorite place is in my hammock by the pool.

Riki is from Hawaii and only moved to Arizona to pursue his passion for videography. He has been carrying a camera for quite some time, but it was only about 3 years ago that he began taking it seriously. He has always had a deep love for movies and storytelling, which is why he finds great joy in the editing process of crafting a love story from scratch. This profession has allowed him to further embrace his extroverted nature and has made him more open and comfortable in showcasing his genuine, joyful self. As a videographer, his aim is to not only provide top-notch work for his clients but also to establish a friendly bond with them, making them feel like he is a part of their family during their special wedding celebration.

Bailey's business is new, but she has been in weddings for some time now and knows what she is doing. Her couples mean the world to her. She is a romantic at heart - always reading romance novels. She hopes to one day open a venue in the mountains.

Some fun facts about Bailey! She is from Montana (mountain girl at heart). She has 4 tattoos (Dandelion, matchstick, pocket knife, and Scorpio sign). And she is scuba certified!

Friendor Fridays!!! Introducing Danny from

I do a lot of weddings at , and it is a pleasure to see Danny most of those. He always has a coke ready for me at the bar.

Fun facts! Danny is an avid snowboarder. He likes to stay very active, whether that’s snowboarding, softball, bowling, or working out. He is a proud girl dad and husband.

He started his business in January 2018. Went from 2 bartenders on staff to 8. All of the bartenders are trained by him. He keeps a tight knit circle to ensure accountability and reliability. He prides himself on being reliable and accountable, so he sets the standard as a leader. He lets my bartenders have a voice and loves to collaborate on ways to improve as a person and company.

If you need a bartender for your event, I highly recommend his team!

Say hi to my friends at !

Mary and Jennifer have been AMAZING to work with over the course of the last year. I have really gotten to know both of them well as our business and personal relationships have flourished. They both relocated from far away to see the vision of the venue come to life.

Ocotillo Golf Club has blossomed over the last year with improvements. If you're looking for a spot in the east valley to get married - definetly give this one a look.

As a bonus - they have a great inclusive summer package available which features yours truly! I can't thank them enough for the opportunity!

Friendor Friday!!!

Meet - AKA Andrew Millett. Funny story, Andrew and I haven't actually done a wedding together yet; however we have a long history!

Andrew and I went to elementary school together! We went separate ways after elementary school and didn't connect again until after college. When we reunited, we did so by forming a band!

The band thing didn't last forever, but our friendship will!!! Andrew was the first one I went to when I became a DJ so that I could get some photo and video marketing materials.

Now we are both knee deep in the wedding field. Me on the DJ side, him on video! And we have made it a point to meet together to watch every Dune movie that comes out.

I hope we can do a wedding together soon!

Friendor Fridays!

What's a friendor? Well, in this industry, you tend to run across the same people from time to time. And as it is, there are certain people you really click with and love to see at your events.
azphotography worked with me at one of my first weddings. She has also taken my family photos for the past two years. A couple of fun things about Nadine - Before entering photography, she went to cosmetology school. She still cuts and colors all her family's hair. Also, when she isn't busy editing photos, she likes to pick up a hook and yarn to crochet blankets.

is one of my favorite videographers. He filmed my promo video, and I DJd his wedding. He was born in Russia and adopted at the age of 7. He gained a passion for film through various acting roles in high school. Lastly, his favorite snack is cereal!
