If your venue doesn't have a space for you to get ready in, check out local hotels and Air BnB's to rent in the morning.

They are perfect for this as they often have multiple rooms which means your wedding party can all get ready together.

I see time and time again where the bride sits down to get her makeup done and the flood of questions start coming in.

Your makeup artist cannot work on your face while you are talking and moving around. Make the makeup chair sacred! This may be the last quiet moment you get for the rest of the day, so cherish it. Relax and think about the things you are most excited about.

Let's talk toasts!

Usually the best man and maid of honor - and sometimes father of the bride or parents make a toast at the wedding reception.

It's important to keep toasts short. One thing guests complain about is the number of and length of wedding toasts - so keep toasts to a minimum and short and sweet!

The best time for inside jokes and long speeches (if they must be done) is at the rehearsal dinner.
