Husband: This one not bingo yet. U need 2 lines.
Wife: (Adament because we're always right) I bingo already! U see the straight line!
Husband: Ya but u need 2 lines.
Wife: oh...

Me: (Laughing gleefully ) The penalty of a fake Bingo is to dance on stage. 😈

Husband: okok, I dance with u.

Fwah! Hero! 加分！加分！！！

And that's how we danced to Flower, much to the delight of everyone. 🌻🌸🌼

Very 感恩 to be part of this group of peeps who're hilarious and uber fun to be with. You wouldn't expect any less from a group of emcees.

And... it's so therapeutic to be able to sit back and let others do the talking and steering of conversations. Sit and laugh at other ppl's jokes instead of being the joker myself lol.

Fun fact: Towards the end of my wedding, our pastor announced "Thank you for attending the *
f u n n e r a l of...". People gasped in utter horror and I could see my family members and friends recoiled in shock.

I recounted this to my emcee friends and shared how he would save this boo boo. He would jump in as an emcee to announce the 'death' of singlehood and cheers to start of a new beginning!

8 years ago, I met my husband when I was hosting. The event was catered for the aunties and uncles in their 40s and 50s. He was invited by an auntie and I guess I shine bright like a diamond having absolutely no competition from the married aunties surrounding me LOL. 👍🏻👏🏻🙌🏻

We just celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary and I'm thankful that being an emcee brought us together. This is us, on our FIRST date!

I 吃喝玩乐 alot before but thank you for teaching me all the valuable life lessons that 让我一夜长大。🤣 It's so tough adulting but thanks for journeying with me.

Honestly, all your love stories inspire me each time I host a wedding. How precious it is to find your special someone and make the decision to walk down the aisle together?

Featuring this 金童玉女 since school days! They got to know each other through a school camp and volunteer work. The groom explained that he volunteered not to know girls but to give back to the community.

The night ended with everyone dancing and swaying along to an uncle singing Massachusetts by Bee Gees 🤣. I think I shouted encore the loudest lol. Oh such fun!

I left remembering the strong love and bond the family & friends have for each other. It's truly beautiful to celebrate your special day surrounded by people who love you.

As I did the first wedding gig of the year today, I can't help but feel thankful for Emcee Botak Kai . He imparted knowledge and pro-tips in hosting and took us under his wings to this emcee world. Check out to see his '四大天王' if I may say so myself. Hahaha.
