Celebrating🥳 Juneteenth in Baytown @ Bicentennial Park with the family! We had Thomas & Pa on the grill, Thomas & Nonnie talking about & selling and of course Lacie was doing everything in between! The heat was intense but the crowd was well worth it! Of course, being able to give all the glory to God and talk about our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ made it worth all of the Texas Heat! <

Houston, we may have a Problem... This lady has no idea what she is doing on this high tech page..Lol so after all this time I finally posted something again then wham it was gone again just like that... Thanks FB🥸 As I was saying previously, I haven't posted anything in a while so I wanted to give everyone an update on our next venue! It will be March 18th at the 2023 Baytown Farmers Market Kickoff Event from 10am-2pm on the Baytown Town Square off of Gaillard Street! We will be onsite cooking our amazing Texas Taiyakis with our newest recipes created especially for this event: We will be using our Honey Butter Cornbread taiyaki batter wrapped around your choice of fillings: Ballpark Corndog either Beef or Turkey, Chili & Cheese and our famous Mac & Cheese with Texas Maple Bacon then afterward make sure you stay for dessert with your choice of our newest freshest homemade Peach Cobbler or our back by popular demand Cookies & Cream inside of a Hot Double Chocolate or a Cinnamon Sugar Taiyaki! 😋These are to die for!

I am requesting prayer that God is glorified through this opportunity and that He will do as I have seen Him do so many times before ..

Okay I now have 2 FB accounts with this FB page. I struggle to keep up with 1 much less 2 so please don't judge that I haven't posted on here for a while. But I wanted to put a few updates on our Alpha Omega Bait Shop page to show how God works in the most unusual ways that you can't even make up if you wanted to, because my mind isn't this imaginative... Recently Stacy and I have been working a few events, in unusual locations, some may say, but God led us to them for a reason. Sometimes we never get the opportunity to know "Why" He leads us where He does but then there are those times that He gives us a glimpse of what He is doing because we wouldn't believe it if He were to tell us anyway.
While working an event for that is for over the age of 21 we had several people ask us ab out our company name Alpha Omega Bait Shop so of course that gives us the opportunity to share that it's not about us but about Him, He is the Alpha and Omega, the first and the last, The Beginning and The End Revelations 22:13 They ask where we attend church and once again I am blessed to have the opportunity to tell them we attend Rollingbrook Fellowship in Baytown. A couple of weeks later we are invited back and one of the young men we had spoken to that night runs up to me when he sees me and says this "Hey Waffle lady I've been looking for you. I say Hey and I won't say his name but called him by name and he is surprised I remember his name. I tell him I've missed seeing him but we were invited back and he is so excited. He goes on to tell me he had been watching for me because he wanted me to know that he had accepted Christ into his heart and was baptized the week before and now attends church around there. I grab him and hug him and we pray together. I tell him that is the greatest gift I could have gotten was to hear that and he brings over another guy we had met a with him when we first came and I look at him and ask have you told him and motion to him and he says "Hey man I accepted Jesus into my heart and was baptized last week. He says no way bro I need to talk to you about that too, I need to find a church and they go off and start talking about it. " That night before the event I was asking God "What am I doing? I can't afford to do this. It isn't paying the bills and maybe I'm just crazy to think this is what You want me to do." That conversation wasn't as calm as that but through tears. He didn't give up on me but instead showed me a glimpse of what He is doing through of all things Texas Taiyakis. I just keep looking up going really God you want us to do what? You want us to cook what? Can this really be a ministry that can glorify You? Guess what? Yes It Can and Is? One person at a time. To God be the Glory! I will tell you about what happened the next night on my next post. I have to make sure that I don't tell everything at one time or there will be no reason for anyone to come back and read. But let me tell you we serve an Awesome God, Jesus Christ! And who knew that Stacy would be a better Texas Taiyaki Cook than I am but he IS!🥰😋

This is the picture that my daughter drew for our company and our other daughter designed the logo for our company both have very significant meaning for our company. They are also great conversation starters to those that we are allowed to serve. As I was saying on my previous post we have been serving at an event that is for 21+ customers. It has allowed us to have conversations that we may not otherwise have had in our prior positions. I have noticed that when I feel my weakest is when God Shows up and shows out... The next night I had already seen how God was working through this ministry when a young man around 25-30 years of age came up and asked Stacy why the name? Alpha and Omega Bait Shop. Stacy said your on and refers him to me. I just smiled and said "Well it's like this because this is not about us but Him. Jesus Christ is the Alpha and Omega the first and the last the beginning and the end Revelations 22:13 and He has called us to be fisher's of men Matthew 4:19 He is silent he says "Can I show you something then he gives me his hand that has The Alpha/Omega Symbol on it and begins to cry and I go "Wow!" then he raises his shirt sleeve to show me a tattoo that is also the Alpha/Omega symbol and it reads I am the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end the first and the last" He looks at me and says God sent you here. We hug! All I can do is look up and laugh and say "Okay God I get it. It's not about us but You!" That is the God we serve and the Abba that loves us so much that rather than for me to be left to wonder He sent me another sign when I felt like I was crazy for doing this. Believe me God is good all the time but sometimes we have to get out of ourselves long enough to realize that this world needs Him not us but He wants us. < 🥰

Okay I haven't posted in awhile but I wanted to share a picture of this amazing family we had the opportunity to serve Texas Taiyakis to at the Last Stop Christmas Shop in Baytown before Christmas. We even had a little snow for the occassion that day...I guess today made me think of it again and remembered I hadn't posted these pictures...I loved this event and the community support! Thank you for everyone that came out to make it a success!

People may be wondering "Why is she telling us such personal information about herself?" That is now, an easy thing to explain, 18 months later. I have spent my entire life pretending to be someone and something that I wasn't always worrying about what others would think about me if they knew the real me. I lived in what I now know as "The shadows". then I learned that this is a lie from satan, that he tells us to make us feel as if we are less than, unworthy or to live in the shadows so that no one will know the truth. God is light and in Him there is no darkness and when The Light shows up even the shadows must flee. If even only 1 person reads this and can see how good our God is and that He will never leave you or forsake you, then sharing a very personal and difficult moment that happened in my life, well, it is well worth it.
