Keeping your guests off their phones during your ceremony can feel like an unrealistic dream, but it doesn't have to be!

Consider implementing a "photo five" moment at the beginning of the ceremony, where guests are encouraged to use their phones for the first five minutes (or ideally just one minute) to take photos. Afterward, guests are kindly asked to refrain from using their phones for the remainder of the ceremony.

When you opt for a plated meal for dinner, your caterer will need 2 things from you to help the night run smoothly and ensure that your guests get what they ordered. 1. The total number of each entree choice needed. A great way to keep track of this is to ask your guests when they RSVP. 2. Who at each table ordered what meal. Cue- place cards! This is the easiest way for you and your caterer to know where each meal goes. In this reel example, our bride chose icons to represent the meal choice. It's small and aesthetic and fits her vibe. Another option is color coding or labeling. The most important aspect of this to communicate with your caterer what each symbol/ color/ label means.
