Pre , with CD players and the neatherthal cousin of Serato. I remember spending hours curating my sets from printed lists and huge CD books sleeves. Not only did I have to know when/where to mix but also where to locate and flip through the CDs. Many dope and lackluster "mixtapes" were made. I drove my mother, brothers and neighbors nuts playing from 9am to mid afternoon, sometimes until late night. Yes I know about Vinyl, and that struggle. but this was my medium. I loved it then as much as I love it now. But most importantly I've always done it out of passion.
