What a job this was!

Late yesterday afternoon this job was confirmed with my client

After 3 weeks of talking and planning her set up with her balloon artist, yesterday morning she went ahead to confirm times to arrive at venue to set up etc.
The lady who she booked turned round and said at 11am the day before the event 'oh sorry, I'm in Leicester I can't make it to your location'

Luckily the customer had some bits and pieces for her set up already, so by working together last minute with what we both had, i managed to pull this off

My first teddy bear hot air balloon balloon also!

It's been a very stressful weekend, and belive me when I say I take on and feel my customers stress just as much as they do

Here's hoping the Christening is now as special as my client wanted it to be 💙

Could I kindly remind people if you are attending an event, either a private booking or my work is on display at a public venue please do not take anything. As well as providing balloons I provide a lot of expensive props that come with displays. These props are for hire and are reused for events. (stands, disco balls, florals etc)

Anything to be kept will have been agreed between myself and the client.

You would not walk into a shop and pick up a what you wanted and walk off without paying for it. So please don't do it to me.

Table balloon decorations were provided last night for an event, acrylic table stands with balloons were provided. Upon arrival to collect this morning I was informed that all balloons on one display had been popped by a member of the public attending the event. 6 acrylic stands were provided and I left with 5 of them.

As a small business, every cost for my business I am solely responsible for. Now loosing 1 stand from a pack of 10, costs will now fall to me to buy another pack to replace the stolen one.

I don't mean to moan but everyone in this cost of living crisis is affected somehow, small businesses especially are doing more than most people realise. A lot of small business like myself sometimes are barely making a profit or even making a loss at times.

Not only that it's just the basic principle of 'don't take something that doesn't belong to you'

I doubt this stand will be returned but if you do see this and have taken it or know who did please do the right thing and return it. I understand people do silly things when drunk.

If anything this is just a reminder to just be respectful towards small business owners and just respectful to each other in general. We are all trying our best. ❤️

My first wedding 😊
The bride requested a table arch of random size and colour placement of silver, white and green. I managed to get a perfect colour match for the bridesmaids dresses!
With the shimmer wall behind this we be a lovely setting to capture the cutting of the cake

This is slightly small about 4ft x 4ft which is ideal for the kids!

Had a little play around at home this evening and I'm pleased with this
Slim shimmer walls still can give the wow factor especially in a smaller space
I added some mini lights into the balloons and I love this. Happy for this to sit in my front room for a few days
