When we took down one of the Zinnia beds last week after the frost, underneath (to my surprise) was an entire bed of Anemones sprouting! I had left the corms in the ground last Spring but never expected them to come back up till next Spring! Then today I was out in the yard with our new puppy and saw this…..

Normally I would be sad when we get a hard frost and anything left in the beds die off but I have 3000 bulbs that are chilling and another 1100 plugs that just arrived today…. and I need to get all of them in the ground before Dec 15th so we have a SPECTACULAR Spring!!! FYI - I still have 2 coolers with beautiful flowers that I harvested yesterday so don't hesitate to contact me if you need a vase!

Harvesting beautiful Zinnias, Snapdragons, Marigolds and Gomphrena today and tomorrow before the nasty weather this week kills everything off! So, I will still have plenty of fresh flowers in the cooler to make vases! Just FB Msg me if you need one!!!

OPEN!!!! It's The Little Yellow Flower Stand's last weekend this season - but don't be sad - we have about 4000 bulbs, corms, tubers and plugs arriving in the next few weeks so we'll be clearing out the beds of tired stems to make room for those so we have even more gorgeous flowers next Spring!!
