How has it been an entire week since V6? A night full of laughter, tears, endless talent and masala fries. We couldn’t of been luckier. How did we get it so good?

An incredible photographer, & the space is a real dream to be in.

The audience, because of you, we’re able to complete the space as safe & supportive. Thank you.

After 13 months away we thought you deserved the hottest lineup of 2023! but that’s not all that’s changed .. we also have a BRAND NEW venue + food menu!!!!

HI 👀 co-founders (hayley + sam) here!

We wanted to let you know that tonight at 6pm we’re launching V6 TICKETS ah. We’re baffled we’ve been away for over a year but honey we are back + we have so much stuff planned for you!!!!

We don’t talk much on here regarding anything personal so we wanted to take a hot minute to let you know a little bit about us since we became a government approved company in 2020.

So, we decided to be non-profit as this was all about a creative outlet for us and to be able to create a space for artists of all experiences within music + spoken word. Whatever income we make via ticket sales, we pump straight back in to the next event, after paying all our artists, venues, photographers + musicians. We couldn’t be prouder of how well known House of Rhymes is becoming & to be able to hold this space, not just for performers but for audience members who have changed their view on poetry and spoken word for the better (and less cringe).

We’re forever grateful + looking forward to seeing you tonight at 6.

BACK STORY. K so we met in a coffee shop and a month later we made a baby!

Just under two n a half years, we’ve put on 5 irl events and every single time we’ve manage to sell out and if that doesn’t scream “we have the most supportive audiences and performers quite literally EVER” then we’re not sure what does.

You continue to keep House of Rhymes aLIVE and we say it a lot because we bloody mean it but we are so thankful to you all! the performers, audience, contributors, artists, photographer, Alice! singers… every single one of you make such a huge impact to our little independent business.

HOW THE BLOODY HELL DO WE KEEP SELLING OUT!

Guess we should get the ball rolling for V6 already, gheeeze!

2 YEARS TODAY marks our first ever event ⛅️⛅️ From realising we were soul mates, finding our location, posing for our poster 😂 , smashing our first event! ⭐️ Onto the next one, then sexy Vault festival! 💎A whole year later, back with V4- one of our best nights ever!! We are so grateful for everyone’s support and our wonderful artists, our event is our little baby and it’s only getting better!! 💛 V5 I hear you say?💥💥💥💥

As a collective, we loooooove nothing more than supporting others and new events !!!! Last night was hilarious and my god to be in a room watching comedy for the first time in over a year and a half was overwhelming.

Big up to (.massey_) for creating a banging night, which obviously included . First time at stand up and absolutely smashed it!
