Today Newquay really showed what it does best at the brilliant Connect The Court event.

There's something for everyone who lives in Newquay. Perfect for residents, families and visitors - with things to do and people to meet and talk to. Perfect for organisations to have in-person opportunities to connect and cross-pollinate.

Pop down and browse the stands, stalls, take part in the activities and soak up the atmosphere with performances from the bandstand. A great opportunity to connect!

We are so excited and honoured to have been invited to be a part of this amazing event hosted by .spoken to bring the community together in Newquay 💚
We will be doing a quick round of CONVERSATIONS AT THE CORNER (COURT) style interviews from different organisations and groups within our town.
We are currently working on our own timetable which we will post as soon as its ready but there's so much to see and do down there from everyone that coming down and joining us all from 11am is a must!

We have talking all things Cornwall and cold water swimming as the founder of here in Newquay. This is quite a personal one for myself and Justine as it was due to this group that we met back in 2020 💙

Our first CONVERSATIONS AT THE CORNER was a massive success last Thursday. A night filled with meeting new people, learning about the fantastic local spoken word platform .spoken ,poetry and live music from the very talented local artist
Massive thank you to all who spoke, everyone for coming and of course Claire at for providing the most perfect venue for this series.
We enjoyed meeting and talking to everyone after and our favourite quote of the night was "what a lovely evening. So refreshing and full of honesty"
We are looking forward to the next 5 and seeing how each evening varies.
