Big Queer Business Meet-Up

While everyone has been enjoying festivities we’ve been planning the next event.
We’ll be at Social Refuge on the 8th of February from 5.30 - 8 pm.

There’s no charge for this event, there’ll be no food provided but you can order your own food and drinks.

We’re making some other changes but you’ll have to make sure you keep following to find out more.

You might have noticed this page hasn’t been very active since we became part of OutBritain. Don’t forget to follow OutBritain to stay updated!

Hi all, I’m Jamie (he/him or they/them) and I’m the host of the Big Q***r Business Meet Up.
It’s national pronouns day so here’s what my pronouns mean. I use either he/him or they/them, I have no preference between them so take your pick what you refer to me as. Usually I write my pronouns as he/they because it’s shorter. At our meet ups we encourage those who come along to add their pronouns to their name badge, and when they introduce themselves. Happy everybody!

Last night was the Big Q***r Business Meet-Up. What an absolutely cracking bunch of people!!

Thank you so much to everyone for coming along.

Thank you to Matt Davies (He/Him) for his talk on inclusivity and first aid, I think we all learned some practical skills that we could use any time, not just in our businesses. I know I’m biased but it was one of the best talks I’ve seen at networking.
