The goal of the bike parade is to come together as a community to make something beautiful. Despite the looming weather 200 some people did that today. Way to go Sayler Park. You are awesome!

What about the weather?

It seems that the weathermen are talking about possiblethunderstorms for 10 am tomorrow morning. So what happens to the parade if there is nasty weather?

We will make an announcement by 9:45 am tomorrow morning on this page if, for whatever reason, the weather gets in the way of a safe and fun parade. We don't want to cancel the parade because we look forward to it every year, but we will if we need to. The point is to have fun and create something beautiful as a community, not put anyone in danger.

IF the parade does get canceled, we still want to celebrate the hard work you have put into your decorations. So our backup plan will be to meet up at the park on July 6th at 10 am for the bike decorating contest, the pledge and snacks. Not exactly the same, but you can only do what you can do. Hopefully, it does not come to that.
